For all of his brilliance Sid makes some truly god awful plays on the powerplay sometimes.

Hard to not make bad plays when you have 5th liners playing 2 minutes of pp time.

We don’t care…he can help Geno with defense and faceoffs…god knows that’s way more important in winning a game where scoring more goals than your opponent is the only criteria

We've seen this game seriously hundreds of times in the past 7 years.

Why does this only happen to the Penguins with this frequency? Get the vast majority of chances without scoring?

Seriously, what is it?

I know it has everything to do with Mike Sullivan, but what is the mechanism exactly?

I guess it's just comes down to the mindset that scoring is not as important as come time and pick possession.
