Yeah it’s hard to root for them to lose personally even though I know it’s best for the team long term.it's good that they lost, but at the end there i was pulling for them hard.![]()
Made the mistake of listening to DK a few days ago. He warned pens fans that they should not wish to go down the tanking route. “Just look at Chicago”Yeah it’s hard to root for them to lose personally even though I know it’s best for the team long term.
Several years ago, the problem was blowing leads in big games. It cost them a playoff series or 2.
Then a few years ago, the problem was still blowing leads, but also sucking in OT/SO and giving away critical points a bubble team needs (missing the playoffs by a game with double digit OT losses).
Then a couple years ago the problems (compiling) were blowing leads, sucking in OT/SO, and suddenly they have a trend of giving up a goal immediately after scoring one.
And now all the former problems still exist and also they give up the first goal on the first shot at an unprecedented rate....
Like... Just... How has it gotten so bad?
At this point taking the over 0.5 goals first ten minutes is automatic money+ Me, for knowing Ned would let in the 1st shot he faces

He thinks that if they sell this year and stink it'll instill a culture of losing like 20 bad games will completely change who Sid is as a human. f***ing idiot.Made the mistake of listening to DK a few days ago. You’re right, it’s better that they win a few games and pick 11th in the draft every year rather than tank and get an instant impact player

"The Penguins need to find a way to be more competitive for Mike Sullivan, he's at risk to drop his career win % to sub .600" - Josh Yohe's new Athletic article probably. The one constant— Mike Sullivan, finding different ways to lose every year lol

Don't worry mate.Definitely don't wanna risk falling into a culture of losing.
Oh, what's that? Team's seven years removed from winning a playoff round? They're about to miss for the third year in a row and probably won't make the playoffs again this decade?
Ah, well shit. Looks like it's too late to worry about that losing culture.
