Soderberg really needs to get his **** together. Yeah Smith is playing like crap but Soda only has 3 points in his last 19 games (all assists), and hasn't scored a goal in 23 games. The fascination with keeping the Swedes together is based on nothing when you look at production. Keeping Loui on the third line is wasting his ability and potential contribution, and keeping Smith with Marchy and Bergy is holding that line back. Something needs to give.

That is where I would stick Krecji when gets back. With 2 swedes.

Hahaha. He is just a kid in his 2nd year.Yea trade him for someone in 30s.

He sucks.

...and I don't have to worry about being in the minority on this one. :D

I would trade him as part of a package for a large Bart upgrade. Someone very reliable to babysit Dougie.

Note: I'm happy with Bart's play. We still need to upgrade that spot.

I thought Bartkowski was a noticeable defenseman in a good way tonight. His skating stood out to me constantly.

Bartkowski is a good skater I agree but that does not make him a good D-man. He is weak when pressured IMO not very good with the puck .

Well when Connelly comes in he will probably get a shot with Bergeron.Or be Connelly with Looch and Krecji. You might get your wish yet.

I'm hoping, hopefully he gets to play few games in the regular season so julien can play him in the playoffs.

We have a potential to have a real cheap top 2rw line if Connolly works out well, he has potential.
But then our 3rd line would be crazy expensive

This team needs some serious change in the offseason. Let Paille, Soderberg (shouldve traded him at the TDL), Campbell (Absolute must he's gone but we all know he'll be back smh), and Bartkowski walk. Try to move Seidenberg, look for a top-6 RW and Top-4 d-man. Also get a ****ing enforcer, its so frustrating watching this team get pushed around. Also trade Smith

So, the "I'm gonna ______ on _____ with my ____" talk is doing what. You lost Looch. Made some good hits and skated but didn't put the puck in the net. Your knuckle dragging psycho babble ain't affecting the score or the next time you play Caps.

Did it hurt you to see Lucic showing some emotion? I wish he did his usual sore-loser pop to someone's chin. Get the emotion flowing for this team. Chara has used that as a regular season tactic several times, along with the Horton + Looch duo, and it worked.

That's thanks to Rask,
ottawa was the better team, but rask was better than ottawa, tampa was the better team but rask was better than tampa, pens were the better team but rask was better than the pens.

Rask is masking our problems.

---------
Rask plays for Boston. He is part of the equation.
Same can be said for Price with Montreal, Crawford in Chicago.

We can also say that the Malkin is masking Pens lack of offence... etc...

When Boston is robbed by opponents keeper... they lack scoring. When opponent lack scoring on us, is because of Rask!

When Boston is the better team and lose.... a lot yell at CJ firing, Chiarelli out, Boston lack of talent etc.. They are 8 1-1 before today on a 3 games in 4 days including a back to back in Pitts and Washington. They laid out 31 hits on a big physical team. Had 32 shots, dominated the dot. Got screwed on a laser from the back end PP and Campbell if not wrong deflected the other goal.

I'm happy with these guys. They played with heart. Now Buffalo and hopefully another streak.

It's his timing of it all that is lame. I am all for controlled emotion in game. Running his mouth at the end of a game or the handshake line he just looks silly. Then fans wonder why people call him a fake tough guy. Bring the pissed off emotion to your own locker room and then to the next game.

Going 8-3 in their last 11 and this being their 3rd game in 4 days, yes they deserve a break.

Plus, save some wrath in case they lose to Buffalo Tuesday, with Stewart getting the game-winner on a PP with Smith in the box and the puck deflecting in off Campbell and Hamilton.

Jeez, I dunno. He showed some nifty moves under extreme pressure. I thought he's looked pretty good lately.

These 3 games in 4 days stuff is kicking our butt but they are stll fighting.

-------
Haven't been looking but during the game if not wrong I heard commentator's say that Boston had like 12 or 19 (not sure what I heard) sequence of 3 games in 4 nights this season. Is that right? If it is: that is insane schedule. If right, it's almost 40% to 50% of the season.

We have to win Thursday in Ottawa in regulation.

Sens still have 3 games with Toronto :help:

I heard the same thing on NBC, but it didn't make mathematical sense to me. I thought I heard them say the B's have played 3 in 4 nights 12 times this year, and will do so 19 times when the season is over.

They might be calculating that where there is overflow of the 3 in 4 nights. Either way, I don't believe in making excuses, but the schedule makers don't do us any favors. Especially since we (allegedly ;) ) play a tough, physical style. Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago we were off the entire week until Thursday?

Overall I'm not a Bartkowski fan. He is a good skater but I don't like his decision making and his play when under pressure.
