They also gave up only 2 goals in 2 games! We are now in this part of the season where it is not easy to reach the opponent net.

That's thanks to Rask,
ottawa was the better team, but rask was better than ottawa, tampa was the better team but rask was better than tampa, pens were the better team but rask was better than the pens.

Rask is masking our problems.

Man, I hope they trade Smith this summer. His numbers are decent enough to fool someone. He's def part of the problem, and not part of the solution. The very definition of floating inconsistant goal scorer.

He's like a points-only chucker in the NBA.

So we beat Det, Ott, TB and Det in a span of 5 games in 8 days and some posters are still negative.

This would be great for a team like arizona, but we are speaking of the boston bruins who are in the last wild card spot just few weeks before the playoffs, for me that's not good enough.

Looch played well. Had a lot of nice hits and he and the kids were our best offensive threat tonight in 5 on 5. CJ really needs to think about moving Loui up and Smith down. Smith is gimping the Bergy line something awful with his **** for puck possession and turnovers. Loui has been playing good hockey and would be a big upgrade on the Bergy line.

I thought so too. He also scored the game winner 24 hours ago against the Pens but the whiners in here are mad he didn't do anything after getting butt ended.

Going 8-3 in their last 11 and this being their 3rd game in 4 days, yes they deserve a break.

Nope. They got their break when they took all of February* off.

Sometimes pucks do not bounce way you want.I thought Boston outplayed them.Only 2 things I did not like overall was Bartkowski s play.He is a liability and will show in a playoff. And Hamilton needs to turn and fire.Stop waiting till defenders take lane away. But cannot win them all.

I thought Bartkowski was a noticeable defenseman in a good way tonight. His skating stood out to me constantly.

He is a good skater but I find weak on boards and gets caught alot. But maybe will improve with time.I am willing to give him fair chance. He scares me though.

Same here. Great transition the past couple games. Haven't noticed him TOO much in the d zone so that's a plus as well.

But he's not 19-20. I just don't see the potential to be a real top6 guy,
too soft, doesn't challenge, doesn't kill penalties.

You take him out of 2nd line and he has nowhere near the points he has, he plays with 2 great two way players who masks his average play too much.

I hear ya. But we don't get the bounces in front much...and I think there's more to that...

Not just that they are naturally not suited towards it...I don't think they are as tuned-in and prepared as other teams in front...it's tough to describe...they seem to be caught off guard a lot instead of ready and hunting...

The Bruins need the puck to deflect right to their stick to get anything done...and even then...haha...

We're pretty bad at open net tap ins. Lol.

It's an issue.

We let the Caps get away with many questionable hits.
I REALLY miss team sticking up for eachother. Marchy gave it to them a little bit. But we need more of a backbone in that area. You can play tough and not your cool. There is a line. The B's dont even come near the line to tip toe on it. Its sad.

Soderberg really needs to get his **** together. Yeah Smith is playing like crap but Soda only has 3 points in his last 19 games (all assists), and hasn't scored a goal in 23 games. The fascination with keeping the Swedes together is based on nothing when you look at production. Keeping Loui on the third line is wasting his ability and potential contribution, and keeping Smith with Marchy and Bergy is holding that line back. Something needs to give.

Well when Connelly comes in he will probably get a shot with Bergeron.Or be Connelly with Looch and Krecji. You might get your wish yet.
