I’m spoiled because I figured 5 or 6th and 100 or so points but you start off 14-1-3 and led in every third period but the Montreal game they lost in overtime, I’m greedy and want 120+ and first

They are good to very good team there will be more ups than downs but more ups
pasta in one of his ruts. even since mtl road loss hasnt been there. injury??

Goalies have inflated their win total. Losses are good. Now the FO can’t sit on their hands. Team has holes. Team has weaknesses. Team also has a handful of passengers. They are not built for the playoffs. They don’t have those kind of players in AHL. So if FO wants to get out of first round it should be spending their time on the road scouting

Only two things matter during the regular season:
1)having enough points to make the PO's
2)being fairly healthy going into the PO's.

BRUINS proved last season with an exclamation point that just being the best during the regular season means "jack shit.' Especially now, when half the league(it's all about money) qualifies for the PO's.

BTW, if having the best regular season record means 'jack shit,' then it follows that the President's Cup means 'jack shit.'

They played like garbage this weekend. Or for you locals Gah-budge.

Carlo was the only D man earning his money. He's quietly become a stud. The Coyle line was good, but the rest of them not so much. We look old and slow. Geekie is an adequate 4th liner but that's where he should stay. Poitras was not our worst player by any means, but he's clearly hit the rookie wall. DeBrusk? Not playing like he deserves a big new contract that's for sure. His inconsistency has me ready to move on but idk about Sweeney. Zacha has to shoot the puck. I get why he's always looking for Pasta but on numerous occasions he had the better shot but didn't take it. SHOOT DA PUCK! Mitchell is a liability.

idk, they might bounce back, probably will, but this team has been exposed and we have to stop talking about goalie rotations in the playoffs and get back to can we even make them.
Carlo made mistakes today and yesterday that cost goals.Thats hockey.Next week he could be a Beast...

We're spoiled

Canes are 11-8 and let in 8 yesterday
Devils are 8-9-1
Leafs 10-5-3
Florida 12-7-1
stars 12-5-2

etc.

Good teams lose. They have problems, none of these teams are perfect. I wouldn't be confident entering the PO today but they're a good team that is going to lose games and have some bad outings

Sweeney knew the team got kicked around in the FL series. The only "grit" he could afford with the cap situation was Looch and that definitely would have helped, but is a moot point now, and other teams are taking advantage of this.
I also wonder how much that is weighing on the Bruins' minds too, he is a good friend of a lot of them, it has to be devastating. I am not saying it is an excuse for them losing or anything like that, but they are all human.

Well, they are not as bad as many thought they would be. And they are not as good as many were lead to believe.
Great goaltenders, very good defense; however forward ranks are a work in progress.
In a long season and until addressed that weakness will be occasionally exposed. But we knew this going in ... center and toughness/intimidation factor. The question is: between now and the playoffs what will be done to address this?

It would be nice if Looch was given another chance and allowed to play after his next court appearance in January or whenever he's able to rejoin the team

It would give the boys a boost heading into the backstretch

I’m out to eat with 7 people and forgot I was wearing a Dallas Stars sweatshirt I got when I was there last week.
