You thought they'd be a powerhouse before the season?

You're a prophet, a visionary, a Seve galli.

What do you see for next season?
I did. I said so in August. I thought the Bruins were the best team in the league.

Didn’t see the playoff disaster however

Upcoming year all depends on how they manage this cap nightmare.

Why is that?

Did it look like they were going to be a regular season powerhouse last year?

I just meant that this past season, at least for me, will keep my outlook on the next season and any stretch of quality regular season play anywhere from "who cares?" to "indifferently cautious" about their playoff chances next year. I have to admit, as I've gotten older my nervousness/excitement around the game lessens. If they win, fantastic, but if not, I'm not going to be too bothered!

Pagnotta reported that the Preds and Kings had discussed a package for Saros that included multiple firsts and prospects. I know Ullmark’s season is an outlier compared to the rest of his body if work, but if Saros gets all that is it really that far fetched to think Ullmark could get a first?

I don't see why he couldn't. I think Chicago for that TB first makes some sense if they want to start adding that is. They need a goalie. They will be everyone's target this off season but we could trade them useful assets for picks

Rumors flying that the Flyers have Hart on the trade block so that might help set a price as well. Ullmark would be between Saros and Hart I think.

I don’t normally care what mr Weymouth board of decisions says but when Brett retweets you with this hmm….

Honestly its a shame that CBJ and BOS relationship for trading may be soured because its the perfect place to dump Reilly or Forbort and (If he accepts the trade) Coyle.

Scary or not changes are coming and they won't be for the better. Next years team will be significantly worse than this years(on paper anyways).

All they can hope for is a panthers type season. Mediocre regular season and catch fire at the right time.

Pasta gets plenty of S*** for the stupid stuff he does

As he should. There's no question he's a great goal scorer but he has way too many brain farts.

Some good stuff, as always, except Scott McLaughlin is one long-winded guy.

What needs to change? They need to grow some backbone. It's been an issue for several years now.
