I look at it different, it’s all of that commotion that makes Marchand go. For his own mental health I hope that he can turn it off when away from the rink. However, when the puck drops I want him full tilt boogie. Once the playoffs start I want him to “let it go” and be his ratty, nasty awesome self.
Yeah and he'll last about 2 periods and get a 9 game suspension. I don't know the answer.

You might be right but look at the last few games Marchand has looked very passive and ineffective. Hopefully they’ll let him play his game come playoffs.
Just speculation but.....they call a lot less in the playoffs - perhaps he's being cautious so that he doesn't catch a suspension in the regular season that carries over.

I think he's just a bit burnt out from carrying the team while everyone was injured, especially Bergeron. Now that he and others are back, it's like he's taken a foot off the gas. Might be a bit beat up too.

So,

Rick Nash confirmed concussion.

Riley Nash — if he’s not skating (with or without helmet) that sounds like a concussion to go with the ear stitches. Or am I reading too much into that?

Kuraly shoulder and/or concussion?

Carlo —- poor Carlo.......

Ugh....... what an unbelievable year for injuries.

Rick Nash Nearing A Return

Cassidy ruled out Riley Nash for both games this weekend. The center has not resumed skating since suffering an ear laceration after taking a puck to the head last Saturday against Florida. Nash required 40-plus stitches to close the gash.

"I don't think it's anything more than that, but I could probably have a better answer for you tomorrow," Cassidy said when asked if Nash also has a concussion. "Once he gets on the ice it's easier to start talking about players."

It is a bit odd that he hasn't resumed skating if it's just the ear. Maybe they're just being very cautious about infections, etc? If it was a concussion, it's odd that Cassidy would say this.

It can take 7-10 days for stitches to heal but the lack of skating makes me think concussion.

I think the team misses Riley Nash and I want him back for playoffs.

Good news on Rick Nash being close.

I asked in the GDT but didn`t receive a response, looked like DeBrusk took an awkward hit from Boro whatever last night, where both were sort of on the ice kneeling a bit, was he ok to go the rest of the way? Thx

But later in the game, he was pushed into the back boards hard ... he was partially able to block it ... but he still hit the boards hard. He got up from that, too.
