Not at all but there is no point in trying to discus his tone because people will hear what they want to hear.

They asked him if there were any silver linings and he cited that we played a good first period.

I'm sure his comments will be up online soon but like with any interview, people will interpret it to fit their personal thoughts and opinions.

His comments are pretty much the same after every loss. Nothing is different with him. That's just how he is.

I've been staying away, but that loss pissed me off.

Came out fine for about 3 quarters of the first period, and then went back being to the same ol Bruins. How do you do this at all, let alone against ****ing Calgary? The same Calgary who has made a living off stealing victory from the jaws of defeat this year.

Rask is the only thing keeping this team from being a dumpster fire.

I can understand people not putting the game on Rask, but when I hear people defending his play on the OT goal, I don't know what to say.

The truth is, even at their worst Boston will secure 8th.

The changes they make better work fast as it is merely around the corner for the playoffs.

Best of luck to the changes on the way.

Can't say that for sure with Florida right there. All it takes is for them to throw a couple wins together and the Bruins are in serious trouble.

This hurt. But it felt better for 80% of the game than I have in awhile. I DO think that this team could win 6-8 playoff games as currently configured. I DON'T think this team can maintain playoff viability in the future without moving a negative value contract or two before the draft. I think that we will get ****ed if we sell OR buy before the draft. There are no choice players to be had for anyone except teams who want to go all in THIS year. I think we could get lucky and go far without change. This would allow us to not shortchange the future again, and to simply rely on raw luck. In this off-season I would like to see Seidenberg and Smith moved..Campbell bought out...and Soderberg resigned to a hometown discount or dealt out of town along with Ericksson for sub 24 year old talent. On another note, I am worried that there is a lack of leadership in the room. I do not think that this is because there is not the character or skill to get this team going , but rather that there is no top player who speaks English (i.e. the language used in the locker room--please don't peg me xenophobic) well enough to be an outspoken and inspiring force on this team. We love Kelly, Thornton, and Boychuck in this capacity. I love our non anglophonic players, but this team can't afford leadership that can't speak off the cuff with the same gusto and specificity. .....I've talked too much. I'll hang up and listen.

He's never been one to come out and truly trash his team in the media. If he did, I'd be really concerned. He answers the questions he's asked.

I would love to trade Smith in the right deal, I really would. Just not impressed.

Hope Bart played well enough in this game to get traded too. Although, Miller clearly reinjured his shoulder so he's going to be out for a while. Would still trade Bart for Kassian or someone and call up Morrow

I think Rask is getting hung out to dry during this losing streak. He has given up some bad rebounds but more concerning than that is the number of times the D either turns the puck over, blows an assignment down low, or gets flat out beat. During this streak Bruins have given up 3, 5, 5, and 4 goals. Eesh.

He was pretty blunt in saying how bad our power play is and pretty much said it helped the Flames more than us.

I can understand people not putting the game on Rask, but when I hear people defending his play on the OT goal, I don't know what to say.

He's holding the post because the guy gets by Soderberg. He is, by default, on his knees. Therefore, when the puck pops up he is between trying to catch it or not WHILE ON HIS KNEES. He sinks back into his net in case the puck comes back down right in front of him. It doesn't and goes in.

As I said...could he have played it better? I don't know maybe. But trust me, you're simplifying a play with tons of variables. This "it was just a little pop fly" crap really makes me question those individuals' basic understanding of techniques within the game.

I think its a combination of everything at the moment. Chia. Clode. The players. They look out of sync. I'm honestly questioning wether or not they've tuned Clode out.

Either way. His system is predictable and stale. Something has to change.

That he was. I had no problem with his interview and most certainly disagree with one posters statement that he thought Claude was happy with the loss.

Claude is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't around here.

I'm with you! Two Fluke goals? Flukes have been happening to Rask all year.... Besides, Rask is so bad in shootouts.....So bad.... For a 7+ mil a year franchise goalie, he is not good in in SOs and way too many Flukes... We would have lost in SO anyway.

Rask is not the main porblem, but his up and down play is some of the problem.

for what it's worth, I think Bart and Miller were both awesome. I just with Miller had elected for surgery at the onset of his injury.
