Rask has played better than usual for a long stretch here, but the critics have always had ammo for his mental weakness. The odd softie, his bed wetting vs Montreal, and the ot goal tonight.

Great goalie but a chink in his armor.

Just happened to be an example at a brutal point in the season.

Still the 2nd best goalie in the league to me.

I can understand people not putting the game on Rask, but when I hear people defending his play on the OT goal, I don't know what to say.

The way i look at it is that the game should have never got to that point. Bad goal, yes, but the rest of the team gets the blame.

He's never been one to come out and truly trash his team in the media. If he did, I'd be really concerned. He answers the questions he's asked.

Why would you be concerned?

It would just confirm to me he was aware of/part of the **** this team has become. And was willing to show some emotion and acknowledgement. Sure, we don't know how he acts behind closed doors (without cameras rolling), but his public comments really don't assure me he is able to see the bigger issues and problems. Seems like it's all about "perfecting the system" instead of really finding ways to make the team go.

This "play it cool" thing you push after every single loss really irks me. I find it patronizing. I'm not calling you out as a poster overall, or a fan, but I don't understand that after all these disappointing losses you have to come in and tell people to level out.

It's so sad that I wanted the Bruins to call a timeout after we scored the 3rd goal just because I was afraid of exactly this.

Not sure about that.

This. Panthers and Flyers are coming on strong. Flyers have points in something like 9 straight, and I watched the Panthers go punch for punch with the Blues.

If I had money to put on it, much like the game tonight, I would stray away from any "sure" things with this 2014-2015 iteration of the Bruins. So far the only things that have been for sure with this team is:

-Inept powerplay
-Conceading goals in final seconds of periods
-We suck at shootouts.

Hamilton stunk whole nite.Julien put him out last 1.13

Seids was trash when I watched as well. Poor clears, bad positioning - getting tooled up by Bouma..

So disappointing to be in attendance to actually watch that ending. Down right disgusting way to lose a game.

Its a shame, and their should be repercussions for this loss, but there wont be because thats the way we roll.

Flames fan coming in peace.

Don't panic guys, the Flames have been doing this to teams all season. They have the most goals scored and least goals allowed in 3rd periods out of any team. The power play goal was a tip-in and the Monahan-to-hudler feed was a beauty. OT goal was a fluke albeit an awesome one for me.

The biggest concern if I were you guys would be that 2nd period goal where Jones just destroyed Hamilton. If that's typical Hamilton, then I'm not sure he's a top pairing guy.

I wouldn't be "panicking" if this loss hadn't been preceded by truckloads of other disappointments.

For the record, I like your team. Clearly they're on a mission to be the best they can possibly be, and they're succeeding. Have a fun rest of the year.

Guys/gals, I've answered to goalie coaches plenty, haha, and I can tell ya they would be pissed about that one.

Let's go over it again. Down on his knees. That's big. Because you can't make simple plays, like a fluttering puck. The glove covers your eyes. The puck is up in the air, bounces off the glove and then goes off the top and then off the back and in.

I can hear it now.

"If you were up on your skates, hugging the post, would you have been able to easily handle that pop up?"

Yes, coach. My bad coach.

"Your poor positioning allowed those events to go down."

I think after that I would tune them out...haha...

Rask paniced. Because he expected the worst. Like all of us.

Was the lose on Rask? No.

The lose is on the offense. The PP and the offense stopped halfway through.

The Bruins should have won 5-3, at worst. That Flames team gives up a lot. That D and goaltending is nothing rock.

I'm not at all telling people to level out. I was responding to someone regarding Claude's interview post game.

Claude's style in the media since he's been here has never been one to blast his players publicly. If he does, that concerns me since it is very un Claude like.

What he says in the locker room to his players is a complete 180 from what he says to the media.

No way shape or form telling anyone here to level off simply discussing the way he speaks to the media.

You are looking for things that just aren't there.

LA / NH Boston?
If the Vancouver game was a reason to panic.......this is no reason to panic.

I saw Mario stars on this team enough times this game to make me happy sticking to the status-quo and gambling on the playoffs. I say we get rich in to offseason, not at the deadline.

Okay.

Guess I was "hearing what I wanted to hear".

I guess I'm biased since I actually would like Claude to morph into something more Pat Burns like. Actually, Claude simply growing a moustache would probably assure me that everything was going to be okay.

There's more intensity when my toilet flushes than there is with this Bruins team.

- Softer than baby ****.
- No character.
- They don't stand up for each other.
- If the defense were any slower they'd be in reverse.
- 30/60 minutes of effort.
- Did I say soft?

This team can't win games unless their goalie is putting up like a .940+ every night.

Seriously, we have scored more than 3 goals in 2 of our last 19 games...

You must have consulted with Essensa about that one.
