so is your lawn asphalt, or what am I missing here? Are you from Siberia?

You must hate golf, or any sport played on a field.
My lawn doesn’t have an all white backdrop to contrast it. Nor is my grass that lime green.

At the same time my grass is grass 8 months of the year. The Hurricanes aren’t the Whalers all the time.

I realized today (maybe kind of late, but especially with his games lately) that Andersen is not good on breakaways and shootouts this year. He wasn't good in the SO against Montreal, but our shooters miraculously were clutch and made a SO comeback win against the Habs.

If our team isn't playing well in front of him, we see the breakaways, and there's a decent chance they're a goal against him.

If our goalies continue playing like this, we seriously need to consider not re-signing one or both of Andersen and Rantaa this summer, and get a new goalie. Gibson, or best of all, Hart. However, Hart will probably be too high of a trade price since we still need another top 6 forward.

He did, but then had a collapse in the shootout.
According to Adam Gold, Andersen had saved 11/15 prior to tonight in SOs.

Yea Freddie really confuses me, dude made some great and timely saves throughout, but then every one that got past him was a softie he should have saved...it'd be less infuriating if he let in the tough shots and stopped the easy ones, even if the score ended up the same. That said, getting 1 shot with 0.1 seconds left in OT was the far bigger blunder given how meh we played for 40+ minutes of that game.

Has anyone mentioned how f***ing horrendous the personnel decisions were in OT? Playing 2 defensemen the entire time...at home...had zero offensive pressure because of it. Really??

This ain't 1995 Rod. It's a damn offensively driven league now. FFS. What the f*** was that??

I think that it was a good idea for this game. They were tired as f*** and did not want to give Pasta any room to breathe for the five minutes there.

Honestly, this was one of the better loser points of the year. Best regular season record in the league at the end of an utterly brutal schedule of Rags/Leafs/Bs in one godforsaken weekend.

Y’all Canes Twitter is especially messy right now. The looming playoffs have folks on edge I guess. Someone criticized TT’s season and play and it was off to the races on a personal basis for some accounts. Top it off with the debate re: what is being a player fan vs what is stalking vs what is gatekeeping posts that have been making the rounds as well.

The infighting has been insane since the trade deadline. It’s like a Bravo show. If there’s a playoff early flop - regardless of the reasons - the blowback and debate as to why outcry is not gonna be pretty. I suppose this could indicate the team has arrived.

Exceedingly, way too often my realization that I'm not on twitter takes me straight to my happy place.

Disagree about a wonderful place but a necessity.

The Bruins Twitter post right after the win was pretty good. 4-3 “and we left the Lambo in the garage.”

Not bad.
Canes clapped back to include the Rangers cause it was a Trocheck being a Prius
