Would make more sense if Trocheck was still on the team but a solid effort.

Did get a laugh out of the Canes replay tagging the Rangers.
I didn’t know about that previous thing … I just assumed it was because Marchand and Bergeron were out.

We pour on the shots from everywhere, but I believe this helps the team get in their game. They spam shots and look for tips and rebounds but it helps the forwards get more confident. You feel it. The players get more excited and animated. It's different from the Bill Peters era I think in that the guys pass it is really well and move around the zone a lot to create space.
Just need to get a few guys out of that mindset in 3on3 OT...

Which luckily isn't an issue for the playoffs but annoying to see non the less.

I don’t really use Twitter much. I’m enough of a shit head on here anyway.

As for the Whalers stuff, I like the gear and throwback presentation, but I think it’s run its course. I’m sure it’s here to stay, but I wouldn’t mind seeing it go. The only thing I genuinely like about it is how it upsets Jack Edwards and Bruins fans.

I thought the presentation last night was really impressive, maybe the best job they've done with any of the Whalers Nights so far. Lots of little details were on point, and it actually felt like a special event and not just a gloss on the usual production which is typical for theme nights.

If bringing in Chuck is a preview of future legends of the franchise coming in for Whaler night, that will be a nice improvement and reason for long time fans to show up for Whaler night.

If this were to be the last one, I’m glad they were able to get Chuck to attend before it ended.

I would love to know the inside story behind his return to PNC Arena. Things seemed pretty acrimonious when he left. Of course, time heals wounds. But still, it was a surprise.

Boys looked a bit flat after the Leaf's Game.
Saying that, they came on strong in the 3rd Period.
