Man I hate the loser point. The leafs wouldn't even be in the race without them. We'd be tied for 2nd in the division with the sens. Instead we are battling to catch the leafs and fend off the lightning and likely to face the capitals in the first round. I don't see that match up working well for us

Leafs last 4 games will be tough to you know .Pitts Wash and Columbus among them and a back to back . Bruins can get top 3 in Atlantic

shades of Clode in the 3rd period...ok agreed.

We got outplayed, flat out stopped playing, bend dont break D. I hate that gameplan, glad it worked today. Rask stood on his head.

NOT the ideal way to finish.

We also put up 4 goals...something Clode was having MAJOR issues with getting the team to do.

BUT BUT Clode doesnt have the horses!!

If Clode had the right players he'd have won this game!

BUT BUT BUT

there are no other coaches out there that can get any success out of the bruins, he is the best option out there!!

ty Clode for the win!l

The team had no issues scoring towards the end of Claude.

No one said anything else you've said.

Big win, Rask has been huge since waking up.

It was seriously entertaining to watch the post-game crew have to give about 15 seconds to the Jimmy Hayes injury. They struggled to find a way to say that his injury was a problem.

Hell baby
Awwww mannnn ;)

Let's start calling the Nash/Moore/Acciari line the 3rd line because that's what they are.

Acciari has been awesome since regaining some of his scoring touch down in providence. Perfect 4th liner

man was that an ugly game by our boys, completely outplayed in the 3rd and if they play remotely similar tomorrow I`ll be forced to attend to the Honey-Do list Mrs Odaat has conveniently left for me while she`s on course this weekend.

That said, vital 2 pts

I have no reason to believe this other than what my gut tells me but the Wings are going to close the Joe with a W in regulation:)

Not saying we can't. I hate that we have to battle it out for a spot that should already be comfortably ours

That third period was a little too Julienesque for my liking...why sit back like that? Good to get the win though. I thought Bergeron looked dangerous and was skating better than he has for most of the season. We are going to need him in these final four games.

Dear Tuukka,

Thank you for replying to the last memo with two games stolen for the wins. We really appreciate the efforts this week and please take tomorrow off and be ready for Tuesday.

Sincerely,

The Boston Bruins

Big win and a season sweep of the series should show the Panthers' front office they have lots of work to do to compete in the Atlantic.

I hope they start by firing their announcers.

Other way around. The Leafs have relied much less on the gimmicks (3-on-3 and shootout) than other teams to get to where they are in the standings. "Loser points" are what teams would have taken away in the old NHL, which featured ties.

I think he means more that the Leafs get a point for playing total boring hockey to protect a lead they ultimately lose in the end and are rewarded with a point for their loss.

Denis Potvin is awesome. He gets so goddamn drunk and just rambles nonsense all game.

I did that for 20 years and started to annoy myself:laugh:

OT but I am not getting a response in the Providence thread, any radio feed I can listen to tonight`s tilt on anyone know about? Looked on the PB`s site and couldn`t find one there either

Thanks

That whole line has really stepped up their game down the stretch

Sooner than later the league refs are going to start calling Babcock clutch and grab plays in the third and it will cost them. You are right about them plodding along until the point is secured then dropping a dump on the ice.

What? Leafs have lost 15 games in ot or so. That means they have 15 loser points...

I really like the Backes fit with Bergeron. But that line was zooming when Pastrnak was placed there. Maybe we can see Debrusk/Krejci/Backes line up together.
