This makes me want to vomit.

Been discussed on the Bruins forum, it's not a fit for either team. Pass

sorry, I just saw it today. From an oilers perspective it makes some sense. Cap wise we would have to send Turris along with him.

This would be the Oilers selling a good asset at a very low point .. so yeah, will probably happen!

I have all day for Kassian for Debrusk and then not keeping Debrusk since his qualifying offer is too high.
It would suck to lose yams, but he just isn’t cutting it in our top 6. No shots in his last 9 games and lacks the size and physicality come playoff time. Debrusk could be revitalized playing back home. Change of scenery for both guys, and the bruins can bring Rask back and upgrade their Defence with the extra cap space.

Not sure what magical cap space next year they'll have to re-sign DeBrusk.

True. Oilers are in trouble cap wise.
Number 1 priority is to sign JP long term. Koskinen’s money will go towards that and skinner is likely the back up at league min.

kassian
Barrie

will both need to be moved out for peanuts. Should free up 7 million. Internal ELC replacing them both.

Some Bruins fans may not like Yamamoto strictly due to his height, but I think positionally it works, especially if it rejuvenates both players.

Bruins need an RW with upside, and they are set in the top 6 on the LW side.

I like Yamamoto, and would be ok with a deal with Debrusk/Yamamoto swap as the basis. Hopefully a situation where both sides benefit. I like Debrusk.

Debrusk is essentially an impending UFA due to the likelihood that no team will be willing to give him his QO. I'd be surprised if he pulls anything more than a mid round pick.

Both players need a change of a scenery although in Yamamoto's case at least hasn't been given every opportunity to succeed? I know I was banking on him as a fixture in the Oilers' top six.

I wonder who this Husband/Father knows close to the situation. Is he one of the players' husbands/fathers?

That's because it's not true.

Didn't mean to come at you guns blazing.

Just nothing to get excited for in this. I'm not a Debrusk fan. I know Boston wont get something crazy for him. I'd rather see him packaged in a deal with a pick for an upgrade from a team willing to take a risk and needs picks to rebuild. A lateral move just keeps Boston in that 13-18 pick range and a fringe play off team with an aging core.

Doesn't really move them in either direction. Something I don't think any Bruins fan wants to see right now. More of the same

even if Yamo doesn’t cut it in the top 6 I wouldn’t mind him being a mainstay as the 3rd line winger with Foegele.

and with Yamo having 2 pretty bad offensive year it’s the perfect opportunity to lock him upfor a couple years for cheap.
