The Bruins are not going to do anything with Linus until Rask sees 5-10 games and then they'll evaluate. In their upcoming compressed schedule having all these options in net is a luxury and may likely be the difference between securing a wildcard or not.

If Tuukka regains his form then yes, getting a 1st for Ullmark after a stretch of games would be very interesting I would think. Kassian for the salary offset is fine. We will make use of him. He can be our new age S. Thornton. I would think Ullmark wouldn't have a problem with Nurse in front of him and watching McD rack them up. But who knows? He might wave for them.

You gotta like Yammy but he's not what this team needs. I'd rather play DeBrusk TBH. We need a consistent left side two way partner for McAvoy to let him roam more and build his O game further. That's what we need and we will need that first and DeBrusk to get it.

DeBrusk’s price has gone up over the last two games. He may rescind his trade demand.
I would not put too much confidence in two games if I was looking at him in a possible trade. Every now and then he will have a few good games and then he disappears. He will have to do something over an extended period to up his value.

Ullmark might be Edmonton’s main target. They really need help in net and are desperate. Ullmark would waive. Time for Donny to make his move.

Isn't Jake DeBrusk lurking at Alex Galyenchuk terrirtory right now. His production has been on a stiff decline past few years

Not sure how he helps the Oilers. Doesn't Hyman bring what DeBrusk is supposed to bring ?

No, he’s not anywhere near Galchenyuk territory. He’s been pretty good since the trade request went public.

Lol the guy signed long-ish term in Boston and his agent negotiated that because Ullmark likely wanted that protection. You think he waives a mere 4/5 months after getting that protection? Don't think so.

He has no trade protection, he has a contract that will be honored regardless of who is paying it.

What are you talking about? He has a full NMC for the first two years of his contract and a modified NTC for the last two years. So yes, he absolutely has trade protection and can enact that clause to ensure he isn't traded to Edmonton.
My mistake, not sure how I missed those details when I took a look at his contract earlier this afternoon.
