God this is a boring ass game. I don't even think we've had any good scoring chances so far. Just disgusting hockey. Only Mathews will make this season a success.

It's easy to blame with With his power play choices, his complete lack of an effort for linematching, his playing Prust-Cracknell-Dorsett late in games when trailing. He is just a garbage coach.

That said, just like the Torts year - he is working with garbage personnel so that doesnt help.
Torts overplayed the twins to death leading to a 6th overall. WD is overplaying Dorsett and Prust to potentially the worst record since 99.

To be fair you said what Bonose said to you to me in the beginning of the season.

"No one's making you watch" lol.

Yeah but like I said, if I don't watch, I'll be called a fake fan so there is no winning with him. Wouldn't miss a game even if we were Oilers bad.

Even if we had 21 year old PPG Sedins it would still suck to know we're playing like the worst team this season.

We'd basically be Edmonton the RNH-Hall year.

I can't embrace the tank unless it comes with a new management team. I don't want these guys anywhere near a tanking team. I don't want them near any team.

We could have signed a Dman with the money cleared up from both of them. Asset management has been horrible.

And what defensemen were available? Nevermind the fact it's not just simply "signing player x." They actually have to want to play here.

Considering Hamhuis has been one of our worst defensemen all season, I dont think we'd be worse off, personally.

While he has been awful lately. I put a lot of that fault on him having to deal with Weber.

Yeah, that .930 he put up with the heaviest workload in the NHL over the last 2 months of last season was just terrible.

And a .921 overall. Two months isn't much, otherwise I could just as easily claim Miller was amazing over two months. Admittedly, I was more referring to the Torts season. Regardless, Lack is competing with Cam Ward and can't usurp him. He's 28. At some point, you have to stop making excuses.

He'd be a huge difference. It's not only him being an elite 3rd line center, it's him lessening the work for Horvat and McCann.

Go from a fringe playoff team to being a bottom 5 team without him.

You really think the difference between the Canucks at the start of the year and now is lack Brandon Sutter? He's not a superstar; he's a 30-35 point 3rd line C.

And fringe playoff teams don't win only 1 of every 3 games which is what they did the last 4 weeks Sutter was in the lineup.

But the end wouldn't be near my friend. Although the twins are playing like they got 6 years left of useful hockey barring a huge collapse
