Nah dude. It is what you make it to be.

Appreciate the supremely talented Sedins combined with the awesome puck retrieval skills of one Jannik Hansen. Witness the continued development of McCann and Virtanen. Pray for Bo. Enjoy the great saves that both Miller and Markstrom have made.

And for all the down moments (like tonight). Don't get too down!

We gave the Stars a good run for their money tonight and that's a fact.

Our boys are still competing relatively hard and we're not getting blown out.

And occasionally, we get some great plays happening.

It really is a bit too easy to get into a rage fit with this management team and as a result, overlook the good stuff that IS happening.

Boston is definitely still a rivalry for me, to be honest though it's more because they are one of those teams that fans in the UK tend to gravitate towards due to them having the reputation for heavy hitting etc.
I have a lot of friends who are pretty ill-informed about hockey but follow the Bruins as they play "old time hockey".

Short of people following Anaheim because they "loved the Mighty Ducks films when they were younger" Bruins are probably my most hated team.

Seeing the rink half full of Bruins sweaters is going to be one of the low points of the season.

Boston's PP is ridiculous right now. #1 in the NHL. Belesky-Krejci-Eriksson will probably carve us up unless some of the bottom 4 D show up. Hamhuis has been on an acid trip lately with no signs of return so we're basically operating with four #6 D right now unless someone wakes up.

Can't be on top forever, it is impossible unless you are a Patriots fan.

All teams go through ups and downs it is the nature of sports.

Been a Bruins fan since the late 80s when I was 10 and the team has been great as well as terrible it is the nature of sports.

Damn Oilers 88 and 90, Gretzky, Messier, Coffey etc were too good in their elite times.

Any original 6 team travels as they have old rich fans.

Beleskey has 2 goals as many as Bartkowski, but yes the PP is elite.
Chara has been great for an old boy, Rask is back on his game, but the team is still grinding wins.

Or the San Antonio Spurs....they've only missed the playoffs once since 1989-90 and have 16 straight 50+ win seasons.....just insanity. Definition of a dynasty.

Too very bad teams....so far removed from their glory days of 2011.....Bruins are a little better on the ice, but a mess off of it...and the 'Nucks?....they're a braincramp waiting to happen in their own zone, with half of the veterans playing like they know they'll be traded at the deadline....kind of depressing really to think where these teams are now compared to what they were.

If I come across that, I tell them that they are supporting the equivalent of Wimbledon. Or if they're younger, Stoke.

I like this, can definitely see a few similarities!
Although I'm not sure I hate any of the Bruins players quite as much as I hated Vinnie Jones......

A lot of the UK fans I know follow the Rangers, due to them visiting NY once or twice. Although, that's pretty much the same with me and the Canucks!

I get one game a year in Van being a Bruins fan.

Where is the pre game beers, I always went to the Shark Club is it open again?

Bruins board is basically closed as it is late in the East, who's going?

You sure you don't want the $9 budweiser bro? Or maybe the $11 premium beer (heineken obviously, true quality).

Haven't watched a Canucks game in 2 weeks. Not sure it's worth tuning in tonight.

If I was you I would wait until Saturday when they actualy play the game. Might be kinda lame looking at a blank screen tonight.

I like McCann but it's pretty clear that both rookie forwards would benifit going to the WJHC to get some confidnce and top MPG to develop.

As for giving the stars a good run for their money...are you kidding?

What game were you watching last night? WE got outshot 34-16 nd the quality chances the stars had it could have been double digit goals with 1980's goalie pads.

there have been way too many games were the Canucks play like this and yes the sedins need help but the team simply lacks talent to compete night in night out for a playoff spot.

Most fans are starting to realize this and the future is going to be much more important than winning a game here and there.

At some point getting a win would be nice but then again maybe reality of us slipping further down the wildcard will shift this teams focus onto the future 2 or-5 years where it should be for this group.

Agreed. But, it should have been that way from the moment GMJB took over. This team is no where close to competing with the top teams. His moves have only made things worse. No matter what happens I'm not sure I would want Jimbo anywhere near a rebuild. Linden either. This entire organization needs a complete rinse and clean.
