One of the more humiliating games I've seen in a long time. Physically dominated. Outplayed. Exposed. The younger Ds starting to lose confidence. Goalies are shaky.

That's an over reach on the goaltending. Goalies looked just fine.

First goal was a real tough save.

2nd and 3rd goals were shots from the point with screens/deflections. Boston is big bodied.

and one empty netter.

The goalies were not the reason for the L. The D looked pretty shaky for parts of the game but mostly that happened when the team lost its structure and the forwards weren't supporting like they needed to.

The very best part of that game was seeing Laffy become more and more visible and driving the majority of offense. Very good to see especially against a team like the Bruins.

I’d like to see Barron get a game on the 4th line, he can’t be any worse than Howden, Brodzinski, Lemieux, Rooney etc

And replace Johnson with Tarmo. The team isn’t doing anything this year with Mika playing as is, might as well see what they’ve got in these prospects

ya i'd hate tarmo getting sat and getting 8 minutes but clearly if johnson can get 15 so can tarmo

how long will the front office tolerate the yo-yo, jekyll and hyde Rangers?

we're a young team but it's our vets that suck

How can we have a 'gameplan', execute it perfectly on Friday and shit the bed like this on Sunday?

Quinn says second goal was a back breaker. One day, he'll make a great analyst... but I don't want to hear that garbage from my coach.

We were beat up the 1st period... we had no offense or scoring chances. We looked like we were sleep walking...

We are so Jekyll and Hyde. I mean this game and Friday night's game were complete opposites in every facet. Mostly effort. I'm not a Quinn guy anymore by any means but the lack of effort, physicality, and any skill today was downright awful.

Gotta blame the players mostly for this one. I can't actually believe after Friday's game the guys were told to sit back and do this.

Props to Blackwell to keeping this up and being about the only guy who stood out.

Can we please get Mika off of PP1. How is he still there? He's done absolutely nothing to deserve it this season.

Figured the Bruins would come hard after letting up what 13 goals in 24 hours, but not a great sign, even with all the injuries the Rangers have, in how bad they looked in periods two and three with the Bruins on their third game in about 65 hours.

They'll make 1-2 big moves in the offseason. Could mean Eichel/Barkov, could also mean moving Zib. We have too many young guys who won't get a roster spot so it's time to do something big. Plenty of teams couldn't get over the hump because they were afraid to make moves. Nashville, Calgary, we'll see with Colorado but they're still young, etc. Then you have other teams that waited too long and now are in bad spots.
Yes the vets suck but the other reason for the yo-yo is we have too many 4th liners playing 2nd and 3rd line roles.

Shesty should have started. We went down like p***yes. Done with Quinn. In hockey, there is a time to play dirty. When that game went 4 -1, that was the time. He accepts losing because we have excuses; guys out, young team, wasted cap space. No Balls on this guy. Fire his ass.

Throwing a tantrum because you're losing is something you covet?

True but the Bruins are too good to get their sh** kicked in two games in a row and not come out strong. It's not like this were the Sabres or Devils who dominated us.

The Bruins are also a championship pedigree team and are bound to wake up while we're a work in progress. Sometimes we just need to tip our hat to the other team. So after the 6-2 win, I'm sure the Bruins board was up in flames to fire Cassidy, he's a garbage coach to get spanked with 13 goals in 2 games, one of them to a basement dweller. Cassidy was badly outcoached by dumbass Quinn, blah blah blah.

The very best part of that game was seeing Laffy become more and more visible and driving the majority of offense. Very good to see especially against a team like the Bruins.

Which poses a question: if we can stay consistently a .500 team, and our young kids like Laffy get better:

I guess Quinn did his job as a developmental coach...

The other problem is how jekyll and hyde the fans are here. After we have one of the best games of the season everyone is happy. After we lose to one of the best teams in the league who was bound to have a strong game, the season is over. It was the same shit when the Isles shut us out game 1 and we shut them out game 2.
Everything lies in the middle not the few extremes.
