GDT: Bronze Medal Game

They are carrying the IIHF generic feed. Sideline reporter is a USA Hockey staffer as they are producing the US telecast.

On a similar vein, my reaction to the USA scoring has been basically "Oh. We scored. Okay."

And for that matter my reaction to Sweden's goals has also been "Oh. They scored. Okay."

Why'd I wake up at 6 a.m. for this again?

For the same reason I wake up 2:am to watch a meaningless NHL regular season games. Cause you like hockey. :)
 
These threads are always fans of the both teams competing on who cares less about the bronze :facepalm:

2 deflection goals for USA, Söderström can't do anything to those.

Yepp you can see that non of this teams give a f about this medal:laugh: but its hockey and i have nothing better to do right now so:)

I don't think so. YLE has their main camera on the opposite side of the rink (behind the player benches) of TSN's feed. I have no idea why it is how it is.
 
By looking at this game, you'd never guess that two of the best (considering the past game performances) teams from this tournee are playing.

Phlegmatic and horrendous effort level.

Oh. Seems odd. YLE has top notch equipment so makes no sense to not use their picture.

If you watching the game you can clearly see this two teams dont give a f about this game, they just wanna play it off

True, but I ref a 9:40 and 11:10 game tonight. I may have to take a long nap this afternoon after the gold medal game so I don't fall asleep or die of boredom out on the ice (it's low-level adult league).

Maybe the players will get chippy or start a fight so I have to focus.

Sure they'd be happier playing for gold. But claiming they are pretending anything is just a bit too much hyperbole for this old fart. Don't mind me. :groucho:
