I'm assuming this is in team sports, or sports with bracket systems in place? Not most sports I'd think.
Nothing is worse than finishing 4th
I don't recall it specifying team sports over individual sports, or vice versa.
Well, 4th place doesn't get a medal so they weren't asked for their opinion
That said I think competitors who finish dead last might be happier than 4th placed finishers because they probably came into the competition not expecting to come close to medal contention and were just happy to have qualified/made it.
doesn't matter anyway, bronze or 4th place doesn't mean anything. nobody will talk about it but Gold.

lol i cant help but laugh when i noticed how they acctually tryed to be happy when they scored![]()
The only teams that cherish bronze medals seem to be Slovakia and Finland.

These NHL Network announcers pretending they are in Finland are getting on my nerves - only the sideline reporter is at the rink, play by play is being done from Colorado Springs.

Why would they not be happy? Always better to win than to lose.
You're confusing "teams" with "toxic fans on the internet."

The reaction to the four goals so far seems similar to how players would react if they were down 5-0 and scored to make it 5-1 with 30 seconds left. "Yay... sorta... meh"
