Win the belt.
That ship has sailed long ago. The HW division isn't in a great shape now, but Lesnar can't beat Werdum, Velazquez, dos Santos, Miocic or even Barnett and Overeem.

I'd really want to see a Lesnar-Arlovski fight. Probably 2 fastest active heavyweights, though Arlovski is a bad matchup for Brock because of his foot speed, standup and stamina, while Lesnar doesn't have the standup to KO him.

Too bad Minakov isn't signed by the UFC, an exceptional athlete too.

Lesnar looked to be in the best shape of his life and seems to be completely healthy for the first time in his professional athletic career.

Vince has no power over Brock. If Vince wants to play hard ball, Brock will dare him to sue him. Brock has all the leverage. WWE needs him, he doesn't need WWE. At worse, he will have to pay them back some money.

He signed a contract that has a stipulation for one UFC fight. Vince will now have some more power rather than just getting a few plugs in there as long as Lesnar is under contract.

Of course, I can't envision him ultimately saying "no" to Lesnar, but it's not as simple as you make it seem.

It really is simple. If Vince says no, he loses Brock forever. It is about leverage.

i still imagine if Brock really wanted to do more fights that he could get something worked out.

I imagine Vince would definitely want more in return than he got tonight, but there is a lot of money for all parties to make here.

He has Brock in a contract for another year or two, maybe even three. He fulfilled the one UFC fight obligation. He can say no and Lesnar is still under contract.

Like I said, ultimately, I don't think Vince says no, but this time he's going to get more than a few plugs in. He's going to get a McGregor or Rousey.
