I'm curious what would happen if Daniel Bryan was still around. Him beating Triple H and Batista....and having Lesnar around. Would be a strange booking situation.

I think they might of given DB the streak rub and do the David vs Goliath match.

DB was always at his best as an underdog so losing the title to Brock and having to fight his way back to the main event would of been a great story

It would have been Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan at Summerslam 2014 instead of Lesnar vs. Cena.

Bryan would not have gotten the streak rub lol.

I don't think he would've gotten the streak rub but I don't think they would've squashed him like they did Cena.

Probably not because no one other than Cena could have realistically come out of that with their full credibility intact, but he wouldn't have gotten in a whole lot of offense either.

I would've actually thought he would've carried the offense for like 10-15 minutes but just one big bull rush from Lesnar with an F-5 to win the match. Lesnar just would've no-sold most of it. lol

It would have been similar to Reigns-Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Lesnar dominates for 10-15 minutes, Bryan escapes out of the corner and Lesnar posts himself, Bryan gets in some offense and hope spots before Lesnar finishes it off.

Those extremes...
It's a fair question for a lightweight jabroni, but, honestly, there's no reason to speak like Brock Lesnar annihilated UFC HW champion or something like that. He's a wrestler whose style consists of sloppy punches, sloppy (yeah, very quick and powerful, but still sloppy) takedowns and blanket game on the ground. Not every opponent of his will be a slow, short 42 old puncher with no wrestling or ground game.

lol excuses excuses.

Randy Couture was old! Frank Mir wzs 40 pounds smaller! Shane Carwin punched him good before getting submitted though! Mark Hunt is short and fat!!!!

It's pathetic...Brock is the real deal.

"Jones and Cormier can trash-talk all they want, Lesnar seems to be having too much fun to get involved in a similar he said-she said circus with Hunt."
“I’ve been dealing with that my entire life,†Lesnar said when the topic of PEDs came up. “I’m a white boy and I’m jacked, deal with it.â€

Also GSP might be coming back.

After all the bonuses go out and stuff, Brock Lesnar is likely taking home $5.5 - $8.5-million.

He made $2.5-million just for showing up and $5,000 from Reebok for their partnership with UFC.

Put the title on Brock.

The Vince and Brock hold up Dana for a UFC heavyweight title match at Wrestlemania.

Brock becomes the first unified UFC/WWE champion in the history of Sports Entertainment!!!

I'm not saying that Lesnar isn't the real deal, I'm saying there's no reason to speak of him like he's the greatest fighter ever who'll roll over all others until he does that.
And what excuses? Couture and Hunt were old, Carwin and Mir were good scalps. Dos Santos has already called Lesnar out, I'm sure though that Brock won't accept this fight as he can't beat JDS.

Because that's all there is to basketball and being able to shoot in the NBA is so easy lol.

Not to mention that's Brock's payday for one nights work, not an 82 game season.

How can WWE compete with UFC at this point? Brock has proven he can still do it and get paid 10-16 million a year minimum (hypothetically he fights twice a year with no medical suspensions etc).

I know Brock has a contract but UFC seems to be the obvious place for a man as money driven as Brock. Hell. He's not young. He could probably put in a few years with UFC and still come back to the WWE when he's like...42 and dominate.

Though he signed with WWE even with the knowledge UFC could bring him more money. Likely looking out for his long term health.

Heard his new contract in WWE is close to 5Mil, he probably works what? 4 PPVS a year? He just has to look strong and destroy people. WWE is his best choice for money and health.

If he's given the freedom to do both, he likely will. Both companies benefit and obviously he benefits. WWE is easier on him with the schedule with less chance of a legitimate injury compared to UFC. But WWE stands to gain a happier Lesnar more willing to do things if they appease him with this kind of stuff.

Brock can do whatever he wants. If he goes to Vince and says "I'll honor your dates, but I'm also doing 1-3 UFC fights a year and if you say no then good bye" what can Vince do about it? Let the biggest PPV draw in the world walk?

Brock has established such a great brand for himself that he can do WWE part time and UFC part time, probably rake in $20-30 million, and be home with his family for 200 days a year.

If Vince is smart he'll give Lesnar a wide berth and let him do whatever he wants. Book him in big matches every few months, pay him well, and let him do his own side projects.

I truthfully don't know how long they can let Brock do MMA as well as WWE, main reason I say this is injuries. What if Brock is scheduled for a WWE event and breaks his orbital bone in MMA or something? Or if Brock is scheduled for a UFC and gets injured in a WWE ring?

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it seems sketchy.
