They won't entertain a positive thought about their team until he's gone -- no matter how many good young prospects the team acquires. Those potential 'better guys' are wingers, which most agree aren't as valuable as centers. Check out the trade proposal board -- even top wingers like Pacioretty won't get equivalent top centers because the center position itself carries a greater value.
