I personally did not care for AHL.tv when they were running the free weekend, but if you are a couch-scout or are very interested in the farm team it would probably be worth it.

The audio was shotty and the feed was too low quality for me. As someone who is 25 minutes away from the B-Isles arena, I’d rather just show up to home games when I’m able to instead of subscribing.

Bit the bullet and just paid the $105.00 dollars. Me thinks the Bridgeport Islanders might be more entertaining than the New York Islanders. Beautiful camera angle but the audio does have hiccups. And Dufour just scored on a filthy wrister. Man alive are we going to have some important decisions to make this off season. The professional team will make the playoffs but will be disposed rather quickly. We need to get younger with our forwards next off season.

A blast from the point by Bolduc puts the isles up 2-1. End of first.
Goals by Dufour and Bolduc

I’ve tried a half dozen times to try and watch for free but it always goes to a select a plan and pay page. Can’t watch diddly poo for free.

holy hell, go thru a side menu to finally find it. They don’t make it easy!
Same thing! What waste of time that was.

Dufour OT winner. Kid can snipe. Cons and this will surprise some is Raty, occasional glimpses but most of the time you wonder if he’s even in the lineup. That being said he got the assist on Dufour OT winner. The team needs to stay out of the penalty box.
Raty is still only 19 years old. The AHL is a difficult league to transition to as a teenager, he will be fine.

Bolduc with 4 points in 4 games thus far and a +3 rating.

Iskhakov also 4 points in 4 games, Dufour and Holmstrom have two goals in each through 4 goals.

The future can't come soon enough...

Happy to hear Bolduc is bouncing back. I really liked this draft pick. For his size the strength of his skating is huge.

make that 5 points in 5 games for Bolduc and Iskhakov. Still one more period left. Up 2-1

5-2 win. Iskhakov with 2 assists. Bolduc 1 assist. Everyone else who put up points don't matter lol

For those who have seen him play with Bridgeport, thoughts on Iskhanov?

Can his game translate to NHL? Clearly at 5’8 that’s a concern. I see he is willing to battle along the boards. Question is is he strong enough to handle it? Also does he have enough speed/shiftiness to hold on to pucks?

Good to see the kids putting up points, this is where the Isles will improve IMO. Less by blockbuster trades more from internal development. Just need Raty to start putting up points. Also 4-1 start, maybe this young team can grow together and put in a good run this year.

I think this is the main knock on his NHL projection. Last year he didn't show enough pace, so I'm curious if people have seen a change this season. Speed to his game is what takes him from minor leaguer to NHLer IMO.

According to the experts here he is to small and not fast enough for the nhl.

What I said earlier this year and I’m sticking to it.
