Am I wrong, but was Turcotte hyped a little a year or two ago?
Well, a Turcotte was drafted in the first round by LAK in 2019. He just starred for Team USA at the WJC.

So, Bridgeport is only playing 24 games and they are all against... 2 teams?
Have I understood that correctly?
Yes that's correct. Had Springfield not opted out they also would have been in the Sound Tigers division. But yeah it's a 3 team division-BST, Hartford, P-Bruins.So, Bridgeport is only playing 24 games and they are all against... 2 teams?

The messed up thing is Binghamton is going to play all their home games at the Devils practice rink in Newark and yet they are in the North Division with Syracuse and Rochester. The decision to move their games to Newark was made when before the schedule was made up and nobody wanted to move them into BSTs division temporarily just to balance things out.
That is really quite a shame!
What a weird AHL experience this is going to be for our kids.
And 24 games... with a roster of like 35 players and no ECHL team to send them to?
Very conceivable that few players are only going to see 3-6 games of action this entire winter.
It'll be a lost year for guys for sure. Everything is out of whack right now with the hockey leagues.
Maybe they can't wait to ship him back stateside already
"This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle"
-Jim Carr. Slap Shot.
And from what I understand, no plan for AHL playoffs yet. My guess is there won't be any this year. That is really quite a shame!

Yeah it's weird and it sucks. Bridgeport already committed to no fans in the building at all this season.Weirdest year ever.
Hope they're leaving a back window for this.
Sorry to hear about the no fans policy in Bridgeport.Yeah it's weird and it sucks. Bridgeport already committed to no fans in the building at all this season.
Too much is dependent on the different municipalities, travel restrictions, having an all-Canadian division, etc for a post--season plan right now. I think this is being made up as they go along and we may have to be content with considering the AHL a glorified intra-mural this season.
Nothing more than you've probably seen already. AHL TV is advertising for $19.95 a month.Sorry to hear about the no fans policy in Bridgeport.
I'm vaccinated and although that doesn't make me bulletproof, I was hoping to see some games.
I assume they'll offer a streaming package. Any info on that?

3 of those guys are players I’d really like to see get playing time.
and Wilde! I though he was in the lineup?
Wow I didn’t even notice that. Following on game center he’s not listed. Wtf?
