Pretty funny that they forgot to put Ladd on the roster. Added Kuhnhackl too.

Ladd is there, looks like this one is updated:

I can't imagine Tommy Knuckles signed an AHL deal, would be nice to know who are ATO/PTOs....

Here would be my starting 4 lines -
  • Durandeau -Fritz- Holmstrom
  • Jenkins - Bobo - Greer
  • Maclean -Bardreau-Kuhnackl
  • Ladd -Jobst- Coskey

The next two lines -
  • Brown *Kubiak Pastujov
  • Turcotte-Bibeau-Neumann
Now most likely Kubiak is in any top 12, but I am so intrigued to see what Coskey and Maclean can do. Kuhnackl May still not be ready for game play, so Kubiak can find himself in that lineup with Jobst shifting to the RW.

I am also intrigued by Pastujov and Brown who may see reps to rest Ladd and/or push Coskey

D wise -
I would for the team to pair -
Bolduc and Wilde together right from the start. This worked for Pulock, Mayfield, Toews, and Pelech Who all played 2-3 seasons together in the AHL before becoming staples on the blueline. Most likely Hutton and Helgeson break up that pair to get the young d men to play with players who have more experience. I would go with this -

Top 6-
  • Bolduc - Wilde
  • Helgeson - Hutton
  • Wotherspoon- Vande Sompel
Extra Pair -
Brubacher - Cornell/Mackinnon

I think Hutton's going to go with Bolduc. Thompson used Hutton a lot last season with young defensemen (sometimes out of need because of a banged up roster). Hutton is defensively sound and should be ok partnering with an inexperienced pro. Besides, Helgeson is a walking penalty.

I really Like Bolduc and Hutton together. I could also get down with moving Vande Sompel to his natural leftside with Wilde- that could be a dynamic pair.

the F group is Yeesh...

All the Holmstrom, Durandeau, Jenkins, and Bobo types - here are your opportunities to play some serious minutes. Can they produce? Especially in a watered down AHL this year

It’s more than watered down. It’s a club league schedule. 12 games against Providence, 12 games against Hartford, and no idea if playoffs can be held.

It’s really a miracle the AHL is going to attempt a season at all.

I mentioned this in another thread but may be more appropriate here. With Boychuk on the ice in what seemed like more of a coaching role, how nice would it be to see him added to the Sound Tigers staff. He did so well with the young guys on the island as a player, imagine how good he would do with our young guys at bridgeport. Maybe turn around some of the funk that's been plaguing some of our prospects development.

Which is surprising because I wasn't under the impression SHL was allowing partial season loans at all. Most of the players loaned to the SHL earlier are staying there all year.
Maybe they can't wait to ship him back stateside already :sarcasm:

"This young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle"

-Jim Carr. Slap Shot.

Orebro has 15 games + POST season.
They will keep a watchful eye on him since he is playing with Salo.

I could see his loan end and be shipped back to Bridgeport.
