The Real JT
The crowd called out for more
Btw JHS had no points and was a -2 against the baby Isles this past weekend.
Any ever notice that’s there’s no “d” in HoSang?

He’s played catch up all year after getting hurt in camp. He played ok despite the points or lack of them and got hurt again a couple weeks ago and hasn’t played since.Great to see some of the recent call ups hitting the score sheet over the weekend. Czarnick, Koivula twice, Andreoff and Hutton.
Dmen points don’t always mean much but seems pretty odd that Bolduc has 0 points in 16 games after his offensive breakout last season.
Strange season last year I know given COVID but has anyone seen him enough to comment?
Ugh. I hope he’s not on the Mitch Vande Sompel path. He’s played catch up all year after getting hurt in camp. He played ok despite the points or lack of them and got hurt again a couple weeks ago and hasn’t played since.
I feel that he didn’t pull it enough and shot should have gone to right corner. Seems to be like most of our shooters doesn’t show that extra half second of patience that makes a difference in front line material and 3rdThat was a nice play to pull the puck in to improve his angle before shooting.
Although, the Bailey comparisons may be apt since the goalie gave him half the net and he went 5 hole to score.
Charlotte meetup in the house tonight, nice showing coming out with 3 in the first.
Sucks I wanted to see Bolduc in action…
Sorry, but LaDue is too slow for even the AHL
Somebody here thought LaDue was a better prospect than Grant HuttonCharlotte meetup in the house tonight, nice showing coming out with 3 in the first.

Skarek was really good
MDC had a very good game…really engaged
Thought most of the D was very good
Koivula was good, basically everyone who’s ever been called up had a decent night.
great time rooting for Bridgeport tonight
Idk man our team has a lot of homegrown players and a lot came through Thompson.Guess which team is last in point percentage out of the 31 AHL teams? No peeking.
Wait, there’s been COVID call ups and other excuses.
Development of players is king but a winning culture also matters.
Even the Detroit Lions are playing better and out of the basement (barely).

I watch every game and again it’s not Thompson, team plays hard and if they get goaltending which they haven’t much they are much better team.Guess which team is last in point percentage out of the 31 AHL teams? No peeking.

All good , didn’t know it was something brought up beforeMy bad for stirring this up again. Let’s agree to disagree.
My only solace will be watching a new AHL coach at the helm next year.
Good win coming back a couple times, Skarek again not great but they overcame it. MDC and Koivula are dangerous at this level, constant offensive threats for tweener Nhlers.
I think Dal Colle could actually be a useful bottom six forward if he had a modicum of confidence.
I was shocked he stuck around this team after not being qualified over the summer. I'd be a little surprised if no other team would give him a chance, even in the minors, with a more clear path to the NHL than this veteran NHL team.
It's not confidence. It's skating that he lacks. MDC is a four-A player. Too good for the minors not good enough for the NHL. A tweener.I think Dal Colle could actually be a useful bottom six forward if he had a modicum of confidence.
I'd be shocked if another team offers him an NHL contract. I don't see a path to an NHL career for Dal Colle. Most teams in the NHL are way better skating than the Islanders and a slow-footed guy like Dal Colle would stick out like a sore thumb in other lineups that don't preach defense first or try to roll 4 lines. The only potential landing spot for a guy like Dal Colle is a team that is retooling and needs someone for their PK and 4th line minutes.I was shocked he stuck around this team after not being qualified over the summer. The only way he sticks around would be if he unexpectedly adds some serious sandpaper to his game. He needs to come to grips that he’s not a scorer in this league and he needs to reinvent himself.I'd be shocked if another team offers him an NHL contract. I think Dal Colle has adapted his game to the NHL. Unfortunately for him he's now a dime a dozen player that doesn't do anything so well that he's a must have on your roster. The only way he sticks around would be if he unexpectedly adds some serious sandpaper to his game. To date, he hasn’t shown that tendency. As a matter of reference, Matty Marts had 35G and 30 A in 61 games in Sarnia before turning pro with the Isles.
