Agreed, if you are going to blindside the guy, at least have the balls to tell him why.
 
BB is bloody furious and I don't blame him. He tried his best to keep the shots to a minimum and it's clear they had a major problem with his personna
 
I'll admit I like Burke and his blunt and candid attitude to things. I'd hate for him to manage my team, but that doesn't mean I don't respect the guy or enjoy his sound bites. I hope he gets another shot at a team.

Any gm jobs available? I think he will find work easily. Thanks to these coporate clowns that run the Leafs now. Suit and ties running a hockey team *sigh*
 
They probably just kept him as an adviser to the board so they don't technically fire him and have to buy his contract out. Now they can wait for him to find another job running a team and walk away from his salary.
