I'm with you on this. I'd add Phaneuf to this trade list as well. I wonder what we could get for Kessel and Phaneuf. The faster these two guys are off the team , the faster we get to the promised land. Never believed in Burke based on his trades, and results. He had a way to overhype guys like Phaneuf, The Monster, Bozak, Liles, Connolly, etc - at the end of the day... overrated hockey players.... overrated team..and most of us Leaf fans sadly overrate these players.

The new GM is known for working closely the GM that got just fired.

The goalie that new GM might bring in works goalie techniques with a goalie coach that the ex-GM just fired few months back.
