brian is an outstanding 4th line support center who can play a bigger role in spurts and is a solid playoff performer, a guy you want to have on your team. he is fine, that 20g season just made expectation unrealistic

Remember, he is a player who got trashed after he scored the only goal in game 2 2-1 loss vs. the Caps. Got blamed for the loss for slashing Ribeiro, who went down like he was shot. Never mind the abysmal PK, it was Boyle's fault that game. Despite other players also taking dumb penalties.

He will never win it seems.
