Imagine thinking he could be worse than Dorion. Atleast he has integrity. He'd likely come in as president not GM. But hey I am sure all the hf keyboard warriors that don't own a pair of skates that think advanced metrics are more important than having the skill and talent to watch the games would do a way better job.

Oh the president you say? Well then Sens fans have nothing to worry about! Surely, the president of hockey operations couldn't screw up a franchise.

Well according to your post history the sens are already screwed up. So which one is it? Do people actually think Dorion is any better?

Obviously not the most ideal option but still an improvement on what they have. I don't want him to be the GM that's for sure.

Chiarelli does have a Stanley Cup ring. Something the leafs don't have since they had to beat more then 5 teams to do it. He was the architect of the team that also came back from 3-1 down against the leafs and 3 down in the third. But I guess you're an expert.

I am not sure his expertise is contract lookovers if you are referencing cap decisions. He did a brutal job in that regard in Edmonton.

The bars been set pretty low. Is he capable of working with others? If so he's an improvement over Dorion immediately.

If the Senators are going to add more brass and fill out a plethora of management roles . . . I'm cool with it. They've had a bare bones front office for a decade now.

Do not want this man as GM.
 
How does that muppet keep getting hired? He made a series of great moves with the Bruins over 15 years ago and has been horrible ever since.
 
If he's AGM or something, fine. If he's GM, big problem. I feel and hope Staios is the heir apparent to Dorion, not Chiarelli.

He won't be president, that'll be Cyril Leeder.

He could be Mr. Rogers but ultimately the metric I care about is wins and playoff appearances.

He would be inheriting a lot of talent.

Cyril Leeder will not be President of Hockey Ops. Completely different than President of the Sens.
