I think it's unlikely that he's as good as Avery, but I'll definitely take a poor man's Avery. So we can expect the good Sean Avery that was productive scoring points?
I see people saying Dorsett/Prust...
I hope he turns into a Sean Avery.. A 3rd liner who has some skill as well as the agitating/fighting/entertainment
Avery wasn't a 3rd liner. One of the most efficient top lines we've had since the lockout was Avery-Dubinsky-Jagr. Or when he was with Shanahan and Gomez. Whatever line he played on was usually our best.
Lemieux's pdo is pretty high this year, idk how I feel about that
I highly doubt it. Gorton's mo has not been flipping prospects obtained in a trade. Everything that he has done has been for a specific reason. Lemieux was brought here because Gorton has seen something in him and he seems to play the type of game that Quinn wants and Gorton tries to build around.Pause... potentially a package deal with McQuaid
So another Prust/Dorsett
Wouldn't surprise me if he puts in 15-20 per year.So another Prust/Dorsett
Lol, Avery was not a top 6 player. He was sure as hell not a first liner. He topped out at like 40 points.
Anyways, I'm really excited for Lemieux. I heard people saying he 'could be' a 4th liner. He already is and probably can become a solid 3rd line player.
You need guys like this to win. And he will hopefully have good leadership qualities.
LOL....Claude and his 3 rings not a bad consolation prize by any means .Wish his dad were Mario tho![]()
might be a function of how he plays. His goals are usually scored within 10 feet of the net. He's not doing the 3-man weave for Snoop he's going directly to the net with or wihout the puck. His skating is good (not great) his hands are decent and his work ethic is solid. I wish him well, he's 4th line but improving and adapting well to NHL play.Lemieux's pdo is pretty high this year, idk how I feel about that
