Gallagher and Dvorak can not be here again next season. Gallagher needs to be moved with 50% retention for another teams problem who we can bury in Laval. Demidov and at least one but likely two of Beck, Kapanen and Roy will need a spot as well. So losing two forwards is a priority and Gallagher and Dvorak are the glaringly obvious candidates that we need to improve on. I want to keep both of Armia and Evans as they are key cogs and nearly irreplaceable on the market.
Gallagher can also be bought out for big savings in the 1st year but complicated with a significant salary in the second years followed by two more cheap years

Both scenarios are better than keeping him in the lineup and blocking young players while paying him 6.5M........there is a final scenario where we simply keep him and he will have to accept Pezzetta's current role as a 13th forward.
