It's still early and I know that he got an assist last night, but I think that Lavoie is lucky that Bujold is hurt.

I expected A LOT more out of him and so far it just hasn't happened.

He's a gifted goal scorer, but other areas in his game aren't as strong. If you score 30-40 goals, that is enough. I thought that he would tear it up this year, but he has the same amount of points as Noah Roberts and only 2 goals. More importantly he isn't really getting that many chances.

That decision on the last OA spot might end up being tougher than I thought.

Any word on when Jiricek will be ready to play?
Earlier in the week I had heard it may be 2 weeks. So maybe next weekend?

It may be the visa issue. The Blues said his injury would have been fully rehabbed and he'd be game ready when reassigned.

If you would have told me before the game started that you would get out shot 40 to 20 against London on the road and get a point I would take it
They definitely got pinned down in the 3rd, but the shot counting in the building was very Knight friendly.

O'Donnell making his OHL debut tonight!

Hopefully they don't come out flat vs a Petes team that is REALLY struggling.
Pretty good in the 1st 10, then they were caught chasing to end the period.

Holy hell, that Protz hit.

Protz is just so strong.

First time seeing O'Donnell play. He is impressive. Definitely doesn't look like a 16 yr old physically. Good size and speed.

They have definitely given the Petes hope.

They looked pretty determined for their first win against the fronts on Thursday.

Tomorrow they play Oshawa where they’ve had 2 close games so far this year but Oshawa has been pretty great the last 5 games pretty sure they’re 4-1 only losing to Niagara by 1 goal

O'Donnell looked fantastic. Didn’t watch him in the preseason but he’s going to be a special player by the looks of it.

Closer than I thought it would be but the Pete’s were desperate and played hard, can’t expect to blow out teams like that every night. Good to get the two points. Egorov played well again despite the weird third goal that went in.

I was worried about this game being a trap game. Night before a big game in London and loosing in overtime and then playing a desperate Pete’s team. Also you know the Pete’s are going to win games despite their record so I was worried it would be against the Bulldogs. Glad we got the two points can’t take it for granted

Never in doubt.

In all seriousness, way too sloppy in their own end on numerous occasions. Have to feel bad for guys on that Petes team, but glad it wasn't the Bulldogs that dropped one to them.

Just some bad reads/decisions from guys that you expect more from.

O'Donnell looked pretty darn good.

The goaltending again was a strength.

Picked up both a home/away game worn in the auction. I need an intervention.

He got sent down last week, so the pick was apparently more valuable.

Once Jiricek returns, it’ll be interesting to see what D get sent down with the addition of the Czech’s
I don't know how I missed that, but makes sense.

It will be between Radley and Krympotic.

You don't think they'll move or release Chen? Then have 1 of those guys be the #7?

I'm already counting Chen as the obvious man out.

I was talking about the top 6. I think those 2 are obviously in the top 7 for now.

I do think they will add another dman around the deadline.

I almost wish that O'Donnell didn't score last night because it might seem like that's why I thought that he looked good. That was the first time that I have seen him play and he doesn't move like a 16 yr old on the ice (if that makes sense). Good size and speed. I think they got a good one. Might be tough to part with him in a trade.

Have to think they'll also want to get Babin into some games at some point as well. I'd guess Radley has more rope than Krmpotic, but we shall see.

Chan for sure is the odd man out. Once Jiricek is in he will be the 8th D on the depth chart. He is a year older than Krompotic and Radley and less upside.

I think the question is do you trade him or keep him for depth. I can’t see him getting more than a late draft pick (like 10th round) or a throw in on a bigger trade. So maybe it might make sense to keep him in case on injury. He’s not great but he is far from the worst D I’ve seen in the OHL. Even next year you could have him as a 6th/7th

I think as an organization you do what the player wants to the best of your availability. If Cham wants to stay and play Junior B and be a call up maybe that is the best move.

If I’m Chan I think I know the hard reality that I’m not going to be a professional player. That being said I would look at what gives me the best opportunity to stay in the league next year to get another year of education

I would think that means that he will suit up this weekend.

Can't wait to get a look at this kid in a Bulldogs uniform.

The pieces are slowly coming together. Just need Vanacker back in the lineup and a few tweaks and they will be very solid.
Very curious to see the PP this weekend and how it looks with Vanacker, when healthy.

With the Bulldogs looking to improve this year, with this year and next year in mind, any chance they get in on Jett Luchenko if he’s put on the market?

Guelph are likely building around their 07 and 08 groups. With Luchenko’s extended stay in Philly, the Storm may wonder if he’ll be returned next year. Brantford may have those same thoughts, but if they traded for him, at least they’d have him for this year. And there’s always the chance he’d be returned next year.

Obviously, the cost would be laced with conditionals on his playing in the OHL next year.
