Interesting seeing where Bulldogs (current & alumni) have been invited for NHL development camps:

Cole Brown - New Jersey (drafted)*
Jorian Donovan - Ottawa (drafted)
Mark Duarte - Calgary (free agent invite)
Artem Grushnikov - Dallas (drafted)
Avery Hayes - Pittsburgh (signed)
Nick Lardis - Chicago (drafted)
Lucas Moore - Toronto (free agent invite)
Logan Morrison - Seattle (signed)
Isaac Nurse - Calgary (free agent invite)
Sahil Panwar - NY Rangers (free agent invite)
Alex Pharand - Chicago (drafted)
Lawson Sherk - Buffalo (free agent invite)
Patrick Thomas - Washington (drafted)
Noah Van Vliet - Edmonton (free agent invite)
Gavin White - Dallas (drafted)
Ryan Winterton - Seattle (drafted)
Florian Xhekaj - Montreal (drafted)

*New Jersey hasn’t announced their list yet but draftees are always included, so Cole Brown will definitely be on it.

I’ll update if more are added but this is pretty much complete as almost all teams have announced their invites. I expected Costantini may get an invite, but haven’t seen his name on a list. I also haven’t seen Diaco or Humphrey either.

And we all know how that worked out for Spokane…
Very true. When I saw who the Bulldogs drafted, I checked on Elite Prospects to confirm they are brothers, and then looked up David whether David played CHL. Overall its a fairly low risk/high reward pick.

Something Hamilton does have going for them is a connection with Czechs. They had Jan Jenik recruit Jan Mysak at the World Juniors. Jenik got injured at the tournament and Mysak committed anyway. Both developed well with the Bulldogs. I’m sure they’ll try to get Jan Mysak to help recruit Adam Jiricek as well. Definitely no guarantees though.

the Bulldogs have always seemed to do pretty well with the Import Draft's in general I've noticed. yes, there were players that didn't come over (Broberg for example), but with the exception of Fleischer, the players that did come over have always contributed to the team very well and had great success with us. Studenic, Jenik, Mysak, Grushnikov all did very solid here and so I have high hopes for Jiricek if he indeed comes over.

Bigger question is can the Brantford arena accomodate all seasons tickets rolling over from the arena in Hamilton? I must assume many will get dropped or there would be some kind of sharing arrangement.

Id love to attend a game or two in Brantford but seriously doubt I would be able to get tickets.

It looks like they can.

Single tickets will be on sale August 17th, not sure how many will be available though.

If you're a visiting fan of a team that travels well, I'd advise getting tickets as soon as possible though.

The Numbers I've heard are they had about 1000 season ticket holders last year in Hamilton and the Brantford number for this year was capped at about 2400.

With league obligations for tickets the single games are going to be in demand. There is also going to be a system set up for season holders to resell tickets at face value and receive

Any idea when single games are going on sale?
