Don't hate the move.
We move skill for size.
Exactly what we needed, less skill!![]()
In before "Kings org never gave him a chance."
Yeah, but we've gained 8 inches.![]()
Good point, long reach, he has more of a chance to score from the boards than Kozun so it makes sense.
Don't understand why we would weaken Manchester who is having a good season by dealing a guy who could put the pick in the net. Granted, Kozun would not have made the Kings but he was valuable to the Monarchs.

Talent Analysis from hockeysfuture of Andrew Crescenzi
A hulking center standing 6’5, Crescenzi possesses ideal size for a bottom-six player. Offensively, he can chip in on occasion, but his success is likely to stem from defensive assignments. He moves well for a big man, and initiates contact consistently. Continued focus on his skating, specifically explosiveness, will help him become a regular in the AHL.

You're on a roll today, I'm dying
I can only imagine this is either DL doing Kozun a solid and giving him a better chance at making the show or a little bit of a "future considerations" part of the Bernier trade (much less likely). Otherwise, yeah, random move.
I have every confidence in the world that when the kings get done developing Crescenzi, he'd be one hell of a HS.
So, wait, the Kings are gonna waste this and the 2014-2015 seasons just to fill in their LW, Shoots Left need?
Seriously, when they had Bordson and Simon Gagné--both fit the "LW, Shoots Left" need--they got declined and traded respectively, that opened up a massive hole on the offense. Never mind the fact the Kings let Penner walk out to free agency.![]()
Geez, just make a package already! Kings have tons of expiring contracts, yet the can't capitalize on those, alongside farm players?
This fees like being a fan of the Aints.
