Sorry man but I think your mom knows shit about hockey. Zetterlund is an ok player but there is no chance he explodes and pots 30 goals for us.

Honestly. I’m up in the air on this.

He’s a great player who plays exactly like Brady - minus the dumb fights. He is nowhere near as good with his hands around the net when it comes to getting players the puck but he can definitely shoot and drive.

If he can post 60 points to where Brady posts 75 it’s really not a bad trade off.

I still think quadzilla ends up traded but it will be fun to see what he can do with better opportunities next season if he isn’t.

Zetterlund sucks man. Wish he was good but he’s not.

There’s a reason why Zetterlund is included in everyone’s trade proposals… I don’t think he’s a bad player but does not have a top six skill set at all.

If Zetterlund does put up a lot of points it’s probably a result of Ottawa not being able to bring in any good forwards and Zetterlund ends up being the guy on Stutzle wing.

Staois checked his ego at the door and instead made a smart decision for the Sens.

He made the correct decision

I agree I was responding to the poster that asked why Florida offered anything of value when that was the only team Brady would accept.

I love how this is portrayed as a list. He gave a list but then said my list is really one team. Ok so no list. Got it. Anyway, this was the most predictable thing ever.
we really don't know if Minny had a better offer.

Like someone else said I doubt Florida is giving up 3 first rounders if they were the only team he was going to

I really don't want to face these guys during the season. Having one pest is annoying as it is. Having to face three is not something I want to deal with. Teams need to stop giving no movement and no trade clauses when signing players. They shouldn't have so much leverage as to where they go.

In terms of what we will do with the 9th, 25th and 32th, either draft 3 CHL guys because you can hardly ever go wrong the league's best players or at least trade one of them plus Zetterlund. I wouldn't object a Kyrou or Thomas.
4 actually. Both Tkachuks, Marchand and Bennett lol

It’s pretty clear he said f*** you trade me to Florida.

Staois didn’t have to trade him. Florida wasn’t going to get him for a bag of pucks.

I sort of think it's a good thing that Staios got him off of his payroll.

I think it opens up all kinds of interesting possibilities.

Meh, just ice MacDermid and have him fight Brady, who's mentally fragile enough to catch the bait. My real worry would be Bennett or MTkachuk taking a run at Ullmark.

If Brady takes a run at Ullmark, I hope anyone on the ice is ready to punch him the way Logan Stanley did.

i doubt florida is doing any charity work

they gave up 3 first cause they had to not cause they wanted to. Florida is also just fine without Brady and waiting it out

I genuinely feel bad for all the Sens fans who are fathers today. Like I can’t imagine just trying to be grateful for the day that is today for this to come out and hit you like a logging truck.

Absolutely gutting.

I pray you all had a great day and enjoyed your time with your family’s.
Dude, this is the best Father’s Day. Great great news. Poison is gone. Going to sleep with a grin thinking what we can do with these draft picks.

Florida is pushing in the chips here. They wanted him next year to make a run.

A year is a long time. Injuries happen. Things change.

It’s a pretty milquetoast return so they didn’t need to pay that much. From their perspective they gave up this year’s first and got to keep all of their important roster players.

It’s not charity work. They got a good deal because Brady was dead set on the destination.
