Confirmed with Link: Brady to Fla: 9oa, 25oa, 2029 1st, and a 2nd

If there's one thing Brady probably wouldn't be able to do, it's keep up with Carolina's relentless work ethic on the forecheck and backcheck.
I doubt that Carolina was interested in Brady as he does not fit with their strategy; he is too slow.

You can mock other posters all you want but the reality is that another front line player has left the Sens and all they have to replace him is futures.
So maybe tell us how the Sens are going to remain a playoff team let alone get better when the Leafs and Florida are certainly better than last year and teams like Buffalo and the Habs aren't going away???
Front line players left Cal, Van, Det, Tor, Buf, PLD bitched his way out of 3 teams...there's a fckn growing list. This isn't unique. What is unique is that his family has been vocal to the point of tampering, overshadowing the whole organization. Most of us hoped that Brady would be his own person. Myself included. But he's not. He's a Bot. You could see it happening. All this bullshit about the media and fans being mean. What are we going to do now? Maybe get some players, draft some more players, have a training camp, then head into next season without a bunch of bullshit?

Do you not understand that cap space is valuable? Getting a deal like this with no salary coming back is amazing.

Whatever we use the $8M on you can tack that right on to the return.

This is an excellent return.
Cap space doesn’t mean much when you can’t attract any top tier free agents.

I'm calling it now, the two Tkachuks in Florida will end up as a complete shitshow. They might have one or two years where they look great, but that many Tkachuks (and Walt) on one team will completely f*** up that organization.

Bruins fan here I think it's a nice haul for you guys I would definitely draft with that 9 th pick and get a young stud like Belchetz and with Brady money off the books sign Tuch who probably replaces Brady 60 points. You guys will be fine . Your getting a solid bang for buck if you get the top free agent this year and one of heck of a prospect. Good luck.

Lots and lots of draft capital with no money coming back.

Swing for the fences Staois

As it stands, we have one true top-6 winger, and that's inconsistent Bath.

How is a #9 pick and #25 going to get us anything remotely resembling a top line player and a 2nd line winger? What else exactly can we trade which will get us these assets? I don't think we can afford to trade Pinto, Greig or even Zetterlund at this point unless we want AHLers in the lineup next season.

Everyone seems to be living in la-la land today.

Thanks.

What do you want for Pasta? We have some picks to trade!

The report is Florida, Carolina (f***ing so god damned funny) Vegas and Minnesota.

Shocking. Just absolutely shocking!
Honestly the Sens are better off without him.

+ you got 3x1st + 1x2nd - draft reasonable well and you are light years ahead shortly.

Matthew Tkachuk is a legitimate top line forward though. And they have Barkov as well.

I could see it falling apart but I could also see it succeeding because Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk and Reinhart (who I called Strome earlier for some reason) are all legitimate threats and Brady Tkachuk can be that second line guy.

I'm not a Sens fan but if I was I wouldn't be happy with the trade.

If the other 1st wasn't top 10 protected I'd be on the fence though.
It’s a bunch of future magic beans when the team has been on the rise.

It’s frustrating because if this core was in a low tax state I guarantee there would be good free agents wanting to sign and the team would be trying to push to win the cup.

Feel free to DM me.

I just never liked the hate pile on he got online over people just speculating what his politics were. If he was actively promoting politics I despise that would be different. But I don't jump to conclusions based off speculation or hearsay.

Something's gotta give with these American shitheads and their identical lists of trade destinations.

Makes the Olympic result sting a little more knowing these guys are just having their cake and eating it too in this lame coordinated effort to strongarm their way onto the same teams.
