He’s a good player. Has a good shot and can set a guy up with the odd pass.

What’s a negative about him is his attitude and character - crying to the media about the fan base, speaking out about Norris’s contract negotiations, appearing to be a party animal with the scheduled videos of him acting like a degenerate. He needs to give his head a shake and start acting like a leader and a captain.
I agree with some of what you're saying. Hopefully being married will settle him down a bit.

Like everyone, Brady can be better and mature etc.
IMO though this is mostly bullshit.

He was defending his coach, he had his teammates back (like they had his), and him having a good time doing legal things doesn’t make him a degenerate.
If his behaviour is that of a degenerate then 90% of NHL players are degenerates.
He has a big personality and that offends some people, but I’d say that’s more on those people than Brady.

Crying to the media? The only cryers are the "fan" base that booed the team. Degenerate? OMG. He's a 20 year old millionaire.

The few that love to put the hate on the next in line over and over for this team is hilarious.

Always someone to hate on. Who will be next in line?

Well he did cry to the media, that is a fact. I also see him doing less post-game interviews, hopefully not a permanent trend

Defending his team and the coach is not crying to the media
Defending from what? Losing and not being held accountable? Plenty of athletes have owned up to their own play in the face of boo birds. Jordan Kyrou literally cried and didn’t pin it on the fans.

Tkachuk (and stutzle) have been sulking. That is the definition of being a cry baby

You have no idea what Stutzle or Tkachuk are feeling nor thinking. That’s a fact.

He was defending dj from the Fire DJ chants in the arena and sticking up for him like a good dude does.

He also talked about the constant booing and ‘we’re trying our best’. No, he’s a cry baby

You’re right I don’t. And I already commented on the stutzle thread, I’m well aware and capable of thinking about ‘what they’re going through’ but doesn’t excuse tkachuk from calling out the fans. Bush-league stuff

Well in Brady's case he has been very physically engaged and back checking more these past few games. Not sure where you see him sulking? I guess you would rather him be like Chabot or Batherson; playing with little emotion and relatively invisible.

Defending his team and the coach is not crying to the media

What he should be saying is what Steve Yzerman said when Team Canada lost their first game in Salt lake City - “we aren’t good enough and as players we have a lot to learn to play properly or we’re not going to win any games.”

And not

“Leave my coach alone me, argh!”

Thanks Olympic team had Mario, Sakic Yzerman, Lindros, Shanahan, Neidermeyer, Brodeur, Pronger and THAT team had a lot to learn And knew it and that’s why they won, they listened to their coaches and knew team play was more important then individual talent even though they were the most talented team at the tournament

Cry baby for openly sharing how he feels about fans booing his coach?

Thats some old school toxic masculinity right there folks.

The cry babies as you put it seem to be the fans who like to dish shit to everyone but freak out if the focus of their bullshit ever push back.

Think about what you’re saying, players should just shut the f*** up when asked, and fans should be free to say and do what they want. Fans who boo can get called out all day long for all I care. Don’t dish if you can’t take.

The irony is ridiculously rich on this one man.

The kids weren’t crying, nor pouting, nor not buying in to what Martin and Alfie are saying, or any of that crap. That’s fan fiction bullshit as usual.

It’s really crazy how this whole negative narrative has exploded with some folks.

Insane.

You mean the almost 37 year old (at that time) Stevie Y? If you go back in history the 24 year old Yzerman was seen as one dimensional offensive player and didn't become the 2 way player people remember until Scotty Bowman became is coach in his 10th season.

24 year old steve Yzerman had 2 x 60 goal seasons and 1 x 50 goal season and his team made the playoffs every year.

If Brady’s team made the playoffs every year and he was a top NHL player at age 24 sticking up for his coach I think his words would of hit different

Compared to how his peers have handled similar situations, yeah Brady failed and I consider him to be an immature cry baby. He was out to lunch to chastise the fanbase for booing their efforts after the same BS for 5+ years. Context is hard for you guys to comprehend but try your best (also love the ignorance of him saying ‘stop booing us we are trying our best’ vs ‘he’s just defending his coach! Shame on you fans’).

If you knew anything about me, the last thing anyone would describe me with is toxic masculinity. I call out the facts, and yeah he’s a f***ing cry baby that hopefully has learned his lesson. He sure is setting the league on fire since those comments…

Ahhh now I get it. Your feelings were hurt because he said some mean words about the fans ONE time. Poor you.
lol yeah actually Brady’s feelings were hurt more than mine.

Sorry my standards aren’t as low as yours. 100s of other athletes find a way to manage but oh no not Brady because God forbid we criticize him….

Go ahead and criticize him........ at the time. But that happened over 2 months ago!!!!! I didn't like it either but it was out of character for him so I got over it and moved on. Try doing that as well.
