Can we all admit he was a darn good selection. He is impacting the game much more than almost all high draft picks.

Imagine if he lays out Marner in the next Leafs game. Now that would be something to behold!

So disappointed he didn't play against the Leafs and Habs earlier this season. I want to see him work his magic against those two teams.

I thought he had Landeskog upside but f*** he might actually be Jamie Benn level.

Crow never tasted so good.

the Brady - White - Stone combo has to stay together...Stone and White are more playmakers than finishers...and Brady can finish. Good observation by Johnson on TSN - on his second goal - he stops at the net and puts in the garbage. Both Stone and White skate by the crease and watch from behind as he taps it home. Dzingel is the worst for the skate by.

Credit to the Sens front office, they made the right choice with this kid. Perfect personality for a deflated franchise (which most agreed with) and now showing he can put up points and win you games

Tkachuk is exactly why Duchene and Stone should be sticking around, plus Batherson, Chabot, etc. Tkachuk is the definition of a game changer

But I would totally understand if they decide to move on if Melnyk looks like he is not going to sell soon.

I had a feeling the kid was special.

I was actually happy he was drafted as I liked his grit. He also is a natural goal scorer but has great playmaking skills to boot.

He has that sandpaper I love in a player and is borderline reckless with his fearlessness.

However, I don't think anyone could have predicted his start. I knew he would make the team, but that's about it.

The scary part, is the kid hasn't even filled out his frame yet. He will get much better and stronger.

Seems like he made the right call not going to the OHL

I also love the pick and how quickly Tkachuk is contributing at the pro level but we gotta give it a rest with the Zadina comparison and keep comparing the two.

It’s only been 6 months since the draft and I’m more than happy with Tkachuk but Zadina still has potential to turn into one hell of a hockey player.

I’ll admit that I was disappointed when they selected him as I was hoping for Zadina. I’m having trouble talking right now because my mouth is full of crow! I like what he brings to the rink day in and day out!
