I love Marchand great player and better Bruin, but I'm moving him if the Bruins are out of the playoff picture come or near deadline. Im certainly asking him where he would like to go and try to work a deal out with those teams first, but he's being moved no matter what. Sweeney has to do whats best for this Organization moving forward, and if, and thats only if this team is on the outside looking in come deadline imo you move Brad.

Hey we might end up with the same outcome - it's just about the approach. I say you tell Marchand the plan (to move assets and build to next year) then you ask if he wants to chase the cup somewhere else this season or to stay in Boston. Just seems like the respectful way to go and IMO would go a long way around the league to what players think of dealing with Boston.

Rich Keefe has been accurate with other Bruons reporting. I don't expect Brad Marchand to tell everyone "Rich Keefe is correct, I hate Pastrnak". If anything the Bruins and Marchand simply turned this into a bigger deal. Maybe if they put this amount of energy into on ice performance they wouldn't completely suck. But yay, let's celebrate that Marchy and Pasta are best buds. Regular step brothers!

I certainly have no inside info. Just relaying that Keefe has been accurate with other Bruins stuff before and doesn't drop nuggets all the time. Is he wrong here? Certainly could be. That's all. I have no idea. I personally don't care if they are best friends or if there is some animosity. Them proving they are friends doesn't mean shit to me. Just play better.

This is the line of thinking I don't get from fans. If we would not expect any other response from Marchand on this why do we demand Keefe take an L? Marchand was never going to confirm any friction whatsoever. The whole fight is pointless here.

I don’t understand what you don’t understand.

Guy makes up some shit with clear motivation to gain “clicks”. The players bark back that there’s enough frustration without reporters making things up, specific examples of their reaction to the news, and a decade of evidence to the contrary… and YOU still side with the “reporter”.

By YOUR rationale, anyone could make up ANY bullshit about ANYBODY and the proof of that bullshit’s legitimacy would the denial of that bullshit rumour.
