I haven't seen enough of Minten to know much about him on the ice other than he's considered a good two-way player.

This is what I mean.

The cat who started this made a comparison he knew was going to be inflammatory. He saw two guys, two sets of numbers and went “yeah he’s basically the same thing as this other loser.”

It’s lazy. And it’s wildly inaccurate. And it’s typical ignorant pisspot opinion.

Now if he has said that he didn’t think Minten was fast enough, aggressive enough, doesn’t carry the puck enough. Isn’t remarkable enough in any discernible way and won’t drive a line. Probably won’t make it. I disagree, but I respect the difference of opinion. Hell, If you wanted to argue that he wouldn’t last on a fourth line and needs to play with offensive players in order to be effective - I’d agree.

But this other shit is agenda.

Disappointed in the return for Carlo. I would have liked to get back a prospect with real top 6 potential as opposed to a Curtis Lazar type.

Yea I am not a big Sweenious guy but he did excellent here.I think Minten might end up better then lots are thinking.
