I'm not sure if you're a Bruins Fan, but you sound incredibly entitled right now. You know how many teams would kill for the success that Boston has had over the last 15 years? Probably around 25 or so. My team hasn't won a cup in the last 30 years and has made it past the second round twice in that time frame. The Leafs just broke a 19 year drought of winning a single series. There are multiple other teams in the league that haven't seen a cup final in 20+ years.

Fans like this don't deserve a team as good as Boston. Spoiled.

On paper, what the Bruins did in the regular season didn't make any sense to me. I couldn't figure out how they weren't losing more often. Going 3-4 in the playoffs made sense to me tbh. They're not frauds, they just exceeded expectations in the regular season.

And the pens didn’t? Difference is people expected Pit to win multiple cups half the idiots on this sub were clamoring all season that Boston was a lock to miss the playoffs and Ottawa would take their place. Boston was dead in the water ever since 2014 with how people talked about them.

The difference between the two teams now is that Boston can start a rebuild this offseason and not die a slow and agonizing decline like Pit is choosing to do to over the next 5 years while having everyone signed for way too long
