I expect bruins to win this series. But they need to right the ship. Because they will either have a team with a gorilla off their back or a veteran team coming off a big comeback waiting for them. Both more talented then the panthers

Bruins playing much better, but Florida can get some puck lucky twice and maybe steal this. Doubtful but possible. Boston has to blow the doors off them... and they can.

Rooting for the underdogs here, Boston is such a machine.

Pasta and the bruins seem to have been trying to conserve energy and have now taken the panthers too lightly. I think they’ll win, but I have a feeling it will be in game 7.

i voted Boston in 6 in the first place and felt people voting for them to sweep were out to lunch, but what has been surprising to me is how the wins have gone.

Boston played like hot garbage in basically every period except 2 in game 3 and all three in game 4. They looked ok for stretches last night but not consistent enough

I expected Panthers to earn wins, not for Boston to give them away. So, knowing that, you have to ask yourself if the panthers have not played their best game yet....or has Boston not played their best game yet? Whoever can figure it out first is taking this series.

also, conventional wisdom would have you believe that the bruins will not lose 3 straight to florida, but with the Boston ice favoring florida's wait to pounce attack and really not doing boston's skill and triangle game any favors, I would really look at game 6 as game 7 if Im a bruin.

So he shows you evidence and you just whine that it was a reputation call.
He was suspended 2x last season and to say he's been good for 5-8 is a downright falsehood.
He said there were two instances, which was incorrect, and it was truly based on reputation, and not in any way worthy of any sort of supplemental disciple. You can call it whining, but you know it's accurate. He's been the DOPS whipping boy since 2012 when he got suspended for a hit on Sami Salo that wasn't what they said it was - primarily because he was such a pest in the SCF the year before. He has definitely given them ammunition, but you can't with a straight face say he hasn't been treated substantially more harshly than other players who have had worse transgression, but not as many.

Bennett also slashed the goalie in the chest/arm, which is a penalty. Refs could have given them both offsetting penalties but decided to let it go since Bennett got his comeuppance.
Bennett's love tap on goalie blocker/glove? Yeah he did do that.
Then he proceeds to get two handed Tomahawk Chop on the top of the foot and then pushed down to the ice.

One seemed a little worse than the other to me

To you, it's a love tap. To someone else, that's a stick swing to a goalie's arm who has the puck stopped, so retribution is going to happen. Could have been called either way or both, but the refs went with neither. Maybe I'm giving them too much credit for thinking that they let them both off the hook since the situation played itself out playoff style - hit the goalie, get hit back - because there's a strong chance that neither ref saw the play happen.

I really like how Chucky came to his aid and right away put his stick around McAvoy's neck.

McAvoy better watch his feet next game if that's a legal play.

You absolutely would see that different if it was McAvoy tapping Bob on the arm lol

The real question is whether or not Tkachuk will participate in the handshake line tomorrow night. My guess, -3000 that he's in the locker room before the end of the game and avoids it entirely.
