Definition of adversity: A state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune

An other one

Adverse or unfavorable fortune or fate; a condition marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress

Outside of 1st 10 game with mwrchand and mcavoy out, where was the adversity from Bruins?!?!?!

They overcame having geriatric centers in their top 6. Krejci and Bergeron overcame father time for another season.

What are you looking for here? Isn't the NHL regular season a "continued difficulty"? For the most part every team is trying to win every night. The Bruins just kept doing it over and over again more than anyone else in NHL history.

They overcame having to play Derek Forbort.

Sounds like they overcame some adversity there.

Not sure what you are looking for here. You need them to survive a plane crash or something?

Adversity doesn't mean difficulty... its how youre responding and fighting when thing are against you or doesn't go the way youre hoping for

And no ...playing with old player is not an exemple of adversity...

I give you just 1 exemple... ulmark having a bad 1st start like giving up 5 or 6 goal and boston lose 1st game... and exemple allowing an early goal game and a second one and after 10 mon already trailing 2-0... how he will respond, like the Vezina goalie and making the some key save and giving up a chanxe to comeback or be like last year playoff goalie and just continu to collape? We dont know because everything goes just so well all year long than we dont having any kind of idea how strong mentaly he is...

Its a dangerous series...

1-Before start of season, florida was favorite to win the division... the sewson didn't started in a good way but they finished strong...

2- they dont have nothing to loose

3- they are alreasy in playoff mode and fighting for their life since a month

4- Boston didn't face a lot of adversity this season...

Honestly i got the feeling than panther will upset Boston

According to who? Their defense and goaltending (on paper) was... thin. To say the least. Weren't people predicting them to take a step back?

To be honest, sounds like your "feeling" is based on nothing but made up sounding media narratives.

Id be tempted to say Panthers for an upset pick if they just had better goaltending.

I think Bruins make this quick

Bruins path to losing

Power play sucks
Possible Pastrnak shutdown
Grez meltdown near Physical play
Bergy and Krejci get worn down

It’s not inconceivable. I agree with coach. The Bruins will have to play their best.

The example you gave pretty much happened.

Ullmark was chased from a game giving up a couple goals, came back in since Swayman got hurt, and came away with the win in overtime. Ullmark didn't let in another goal after coming back into the game.

What else are you looking for?

You're really reaching here to create a narrative. Didn't realize Buzzfeed had a sports section.

Excited to see Marchand vs Tkachuk in a playoff atmosphere, but yeah Bruins in 4.

Oh man I think even think of that. I hope Tkachuk rattles tf out of Marchand.

I wonder if the 2 do try and play some tactics on each other

Panthers are on a roll recently.

Panthers put a scare into them early but Boston takes it in 6.
