tough matchup for the best team in the league, Florida still has firepower and if they can get hot goaltending they won't be an easy out. Bruins should win but Florida plays physical and has some players who will take liberties, so even if they do win as expected it won't be without potential lasting effects

The Panthers are just one of those franchises that I feel like the Bruins struggle against for some reason. The season series is split with the Panthers winning the last meeting in OT.

It's not like the Bruins are a team that flat out dominates possession and the Panthers couldn't skate with them, because they absolutely can. But still, I don't know how the heck they would win this.

With Bennett out the center lineup is Barkov-Lundell-Staal-White

The top line is good and Tkachuk is enough by himself to carry the 2nd line but the bottom 6 is terrible and will get dominated by any Boston line any time they’re out there.

I think this series comes down to whether Matthew Tkachuk can carry over his regular season performance to the playoffs. He needs to stop with all the after whistle shenanigans that he was known for in Calgary. If Boston sends Marchand out a lot when Tkachuk is on the ice, I don't think that spells well for Tkachuk. Marchand is going to get Tkachuk off his game.
