Florida is a damn fine team.

But Boston is a historic team. A Cup contender even when missing players.

Who is the Bruins MVP so far, Bs fans? Hall’s been fantastic. Same with Bertuzzi. Orlov and Marchand have been steady. Ullmark solid. I could go on.

I really feel like it's a toss up between Coyle and Marchand

Marchand has matured a lot and you can see him being the steady voice in the room with bergeron out, while coyle has massively stepped up his play and created havoc on the ice often shifting momentum.

I agree about Marchand and Coyle over the course of the series. Even in the game 2 loss, Marchand was trying to carry the team on his back.

But Coyle has been mostly outstanding especially as he is doing it from the D-zone out...

71% of his shifts start from the D-zone...

He won 78% of his face-offs yesterday.

He isn't much of a fantasy hockey option...but he makes timely, pivotal plays all over the ice.

That tip-in the other night in Barkov's face was "chef's kiss".

Jesus the MT slander is just insane. He is playing on the edge no doubt. He’s literally the only one showing up every game and trying for the panthers. Obviously emotions are running high when that team plays dead. But get a grip my fellow bruin fans…….
Effective and their best player were included in the assessment.

Those are irrefutable.

That he cost his team at a key time is equally irrefutable.

As for the criticism…They say some of the same things about Marchand and we nod our head acknowledging some transgressions but admiring his winning spirit and competitiveness.

You can’t say fully acknowledge “this” but don’t acknowledge “that”. Tkachuk is a really good player, with a strong competitive edge…who happens to act like a douche on the ice.

If anyone has a “grip” they see that.

I literally did acknowledge it….. again it’s rich bruin fans are crying even in the GTD on the bruins board. It was unbearable to read. Brad literally plays with the same edge if not even more. Again the panthers are rolling over and he doesn’t like it. I don’t agree with it all but to just attack him and cam him a goon is so rich….

Does anyone really think he’s a goon though? He just does dirty shit then hides behind the ref. That’s not a goon it’s a douche. Not taking anything away from MT, I’d love to have him on the bruins, antics and all.

Very similar to Marchand in his prime s*^t disturber phase. If he is on your team you will defend him and if he is not you will hate him. Like Marchand he also seems to play better when he is causes s&^t so you almost want him to do it. Marchand has seemed to be able to stay away from the antics the past few years but still plays much better when he is physically engaged, but seems to have matured out of some of the other stuff. I'd take MT on the Bruins all day long and would expect nothing different from a desperate player about to go down 3-1 in a series. It's funny that people are all over Barkov for showing no life and all over MT for showing too much?

Tkachuk? Effective, their best player, dirty, cowardly, and a costly penalty.

So he’s been himself.
Thachuk is their best player , but he is a dumb shit spending so much of the game in the box . He is a dirty player that now you have to be concerned that he takes a cheap shot that could put one of your top players out for the next series , say what you want McAvoy solid clean hits are much more effective and I know the standard line to justify Thachuk shit is that it is "the playoffs "........... One more thing if he keeps targeting your best players and this will piss people off but I don't care ,I say say take him out ,I know that is how is scum player dad would do it.......

So perhaps you’re responding to my post with frustration over other’s comments?

Sounds like we agree on some aspects of this. Tkachuk is a very good player who plays with an edge. A competitor. Seems to be playing harder than some of his teammates.

Gudas is somewhat the same, a guy who competes and yes, takes liberties.
Big Difference being Gudas will drop em with anyone and back up his antics. Tkachuk not so much.

Tkachuk is 6'3. He can handle himself a bit more conventionally. His brother has no issue with it.

$5,000 is probably what he spends on mouthguards per game. What's the point of wearing one if all he is gonna do is chew it like a bone headed Clown

But refuses to. Played this brand of hockey out west and ran from Doughty and Kassian for several years. Anyone can read up on the comments about him not being respected by his own teammates and being loathed by numerous players/teams across the league.

He is what he is…talented, competitive, dirty.

Coyle, Hall and lately 73 with Marchand up there.

Coyle also appears to have developed into a more vocal leader. His interviews exude leadership and consistency.

Tkachuck can spend some time in the off season with his stinky mouth guard on the golf course after Wednesday.

This is some funny stuff reading the comments about Marshy and Matthew there both amazing players who will take almost any opportunity to get an edge on the opposing teams players. I would take either one of them on my team all day long there point totals alone justify most of there extracurricular garbage…..
If opponents don’t like it, hit them all game long and make ‘‘em pay when they get there Power plays.

Welcome to playoff hockey boys….
