Tampa is trash right now. They can't even show up against the Canes when it's basically like a playoff game because you know if you lose you have to face the Leafs instead of second wild card.

Leafs will beat Bolts in 7.

edit- 7 as in a 7 game series. not predicting it will be game 7.

They weren't great against Buffalo last night either, and Vas looked shaky.

If Boston loses in OT or SO, they tie Tampa in points, but Tampa wins the first tiebreaker: 48 ROW vs 47 ROW.

So Tampa wins the division unless the Bruins win.

Washington up 3-1. looks like the leafs pick will be 21-25 if they bow out in rd 1 or 2, 28-31 if they make at least the conference finals

never know whats gonna happen at the draft. In 2013 Mantha went a spot ahead of the Gauthier pick and in 2015 leafs had pick 24 and Boeser went 23rd

The Washington game had no effect on our draft position, division winners automatically pick right before final four teams.

Funny thing is I think duchene would have really done well on the Islanders. Was such a dumb move for Ottawa to throw all that in instead

Ottawa paid too much for Duchene. I was solidly in the camp of thinking that he wasn’t much of a upgrade on Turris but was mistaken. Duchene is really good. The question will be can the Sens sign him after next season? Can they sign Karlsson, Stone and Duchene? If they can’t sign EK why would Duch sign? Too many moving parts there, he said he is sick of losing. Trading EK means rebuild.
