Clode's favorite veteran player almost blew this game with a stupid icing.

while true, I`ll state again, none of this would be of any issue if this team actually put the puck behind a goalie instead of constantly into his crest

No reason this team should be having to fight their way to a win over a defensively laughable Flyers team

"Defensive liability" Spooner with the huge defensive play to make the winning goal possible. Kid just keeps looking better, I hope they keep him up for the rest of the year.

Very lucky to pull that one out. Like everyone else I'm furious with Julien's idiotic decision to put Campbell back in, it came within 12 seconds of biting him hard. Someone has to step in and exclude him from the lineup, guy is still a major liability.

Wow, Marchy and Krug REALLY don't like each other. After the game winner they completely veer away from each other. Krug actually looks disgusted and turns towards the bench!

Did you see Pastrnak hug Rask in the same celebration? All the players where around Marchand and Rask was arriving when Pastnark saw him. He turned around and started hugging him. That was funny.

If we play the Habs, thats when you guys will love Talbot.

He dont give a **** who the Habs are.

Now there would be a solution that I have been hesitating to talk about but GW you have prompted me to do it today.
This team needs a whole lot of players with the Talbot mentality that they don't give a F*&^ when playing the scabs.
This would do wonders to their confidence and playing style against the scabs.
I am not saying they would come out victorious but they certainly would not go down the easy way and probably augment their chances to win a 7 game series against the scabs.
I hope that some of his personality on ice rubs on the other bruins come PO's if we are in it.

I'm with you. I think Ferlin has earned it. He's played very well and brings more energy/jam with his game. Another young player who is giving it his all to stay up with the big club. Love Campbell and like you said he's a heart and soul guy but Ferlin has earned it with his PLAY!

We agree. :)

I think there is a lot to it. The mental aspect.

Talbot, Pasta, Connelly, Ferlin, and Spooner have yet to be tainted. Id have in there if possible

Getting Connelly and Krejci back will be a nice problem to have.

Honestly, and I dont know how to do this, i want to see Looch stay with the 2 kids. Hes playing his best hockey of the year. I think its due more to the energy , creativity and speed that they bring. He has to be engaged and moving just to keep up.

I think you keep the line together and put DK with Soda and Louie. They complement each other, Louie and Dk like to slow the pace down and create opportunities that way, both can set up Soda for one timers which might get him going... that's what I would do. Connolly can play on the energy line with Talbot and either Paille or Ferlin with Soupy/Paille or Ferlin waiting in the wings depending on the style you want.. those four lines can be rolled with confidence.....

No question these two bring out the best in Lucic. They should keep them together. They kinda remind me of a poor-mans Lucic-Savard-Kessel, which was a heck of a line in 2008-09.

I'd go with when healthy

Eriksson - Krejci - Connolly
Marchand - Bergeron - Smith
Lucic - Spooner - Pastrnak
Kelly - Soderberg - Talbot

Good, deep and Claude can roll his 4 lines as he loves to do. Allows Krejci and Connolly to ease there way back into the line-up rather than throwing them in the fire right away.

Kelly - Talbot - Ferlin should be the 4th line. It needs less Campbell and Paille.

Well, Claude getting hammered here for his choice of using Soupy down the stretch (don`t disagree with the frustration) yet.............there was a time when a kid like Spooner would have NEVER seen the ice in any of the situations he has been since this re-call, Julien has Kelly/Soupy and now Talbot he could use on the dot, there was a time when he would never have had Spoons or any kid out there in a 4 on 4 OT game

Hammer Claude all ya want, still a coach who kinda knows what he`s doing more than most of us here

I loved it that they were out there, too. Probably wrong but I even thought they were double shifted at some point.

I did and it was great to see. I'm sure Rask was relieved that it wasn't going to a SO!

I thought Paille being on that third line was good..
