But the vast majority of people said he was a late 1st rounder with attitude issues and questions about his hockey IQ. Now all of the sudden it’s as if he’s guarantee to be a top 6 winger.

You can’t simplify the Garland deal like that. Lysell’s value is gonna be different from team to team. He is worth more to Boston than Vancouver because their list of skilled forward prospect is short.
