Some people make way too big of deals over regular season games. It's 82 games over 7 months. Players are going to phone in lots of performances. Especially veteran laden teams who have been on recently deep runs. They know all that matters is getting to the playoffs, not how you got there.

I cannot believe this post game thread. U guys should take the rest of the games off join us for the playoffs. This team is working on figuring out and in the process just beat a very desperate team.

It obviously wasn’t a great game but Igor being great was the most important thing considering it’s the most important thing for the team in the playoffs. I’ll take a run if bad play (in games we still win lol) if it snaps Igor back into being himself.

I am starting to not care about missing games anymore. I went to the gym instead and it seems it paid off (based on what you guys are saying). This is supposed to be an offensive powerhouse with dynamic players throughout the lineup. That’s what the problem is. We suck and we’re boring and dull, despite having a team like this. If I expected us to be boring and dull, I would watch. But I just can’t get excited for games anymore. At this point I just KNOW I’m going to get pissed off, so I won’t bother. Sorry, I’m not going to be pissed about this game because the BIGGEST issue facing this team recently and most important factor going forward seemed to be rectified tonight: Igor.

That’s the best game Igor has played since the ASB, maybe even all season. I’ll take the shit performance if it gets this version of Igor back.

Easily his best all season. Maybe only second to the SO loss to the Avs but he gave away a goal in that one with his puck handling.

Yeah Buffalo is clearly paying with a lot of desperation. I honestly was impressed with the Sabres tonight.

I definitely think line shuffling is in order. Also Kane looks anemic and he is playing like it to.
